The Derailing Thread

True, the only reason we can see 3D is because our eyes compare the differences between their two perspectives. And even then it's more of a judge of distance than literally seeing in 3D.
Though I don't have normal depth perception since I have monocular vision...but I seem to get the same effect by just moving my head a bit.

My current dog is kind of like that. My last dog was really clingy and followed me everywhere, I like that trait and miss it. I think my current dog would legitimately be happy living with just about anybody. He settles in with people nicely.

I"m still working WAY too many hours. Even ended up flying yesterday (YES, SUnday afternoon) to get a jump on work here this week.

But I HAD to tell you all about something that happened today:
So. Black Lives Matter is stirring up trouble all over (it seems) the northeast and midwest. But here in the "racist" south, I exited Lowes in Whiteville, NC today to find an older black man and older white man standing next to a pickup with a rebel flag on the back of it. They were not arguing or fighting, they were holding hands - with heads bowed, they were praying together, next to the white guy's pickup. I almost snapped a picture, but thought it would be disrespectful to do so.

I cannot believe this string is 174 pages and none of you have caught sight of the Lime Green over Purple 1952 Chevy with the reversed chrome rims on the rear and the twenty-one inch spoked motorcycle wheels on the front driven by the man in the white Panama hat with the pink polka dot hat band followed by the Pink and Lime Harley Trike with the red truck Rims on the rear with the rider wearing a silver leather set of leathers and wearing a pink Nazi Helmet... they just passed me as I turned left over the side of the bridge over the Gulf of Mexico. But that's okay, I got my fifteen foot blue and purple surf caster and as I'm steaming up the ship channel back to Houston the reds are biting really fast.
