The Derailing Thread

When I went to buy the plane tickets today, and told the lady I wanted to go to Gibraltar, she asked me "Where's that?". I told her it was a British peninsula in the south of Spain. It's right by where Spain almost touches Morocco.

The Spanish have peninsulas of their own joined to Morocco called Ceuta and Melilla. (They complain about British ownership of Gibraltar, mind you.)

Fear my ninja kitty :woot I just thought it was a cool concept, had drawn up some sketches this afternoon. I spent like two or three hours on the pic here.

lol!!! :lol Are you serious?I can guarantee you that I am not a ticket agent.I have known people who have gone to Europe and they really like Spain. That will be a nice trip.Going with anyone?

Except for all the other people in the plane, I'll be travelling alone. I plan on taking plenty of pictures. I'll post some of them when I get back.

The following story is true. It happened earlier today.

There is a two story parking garage under the building where I work. Others have to pay, but people who work in the building get special cards they can use to get in and out. A man was leaving for lunch today and stopped his car a bit too far from the sensor, so he had to get out of his car to be able to open the gate. He thought he had put the car in park, but had in fact put in reverse. When he got out, the car started backing up, the door hit him and knocked him down and the front wheel ran over his foot. The car stopped when it hit a wall. The man was taken to the emergency room.

I just skimmed over our local news.It is so frightening that I don't want to go back. How bad is our world going to get before he takes us home?

Well, the Lord's Supper links our remembrance and our hope back to the Cross and forward "till he come" (1 Corinthians 11.26); and if we keep these two great events, past and future, in mind, we can find it easier to rise above current circumstances. He also strengthens us meanwhile in His service.
Blessings, f

It is something that has been dug into the sand on the beach. It looks like a nice table set inside with lights all around it.A really romantic Valentine treat.

I like modest. You do not see it that often anymore.
Yes, I agree. You are right.
The problem is also that some very conservative elements of the church have turned projections of what they term modesty into a legalistic thing to browbeat others with.
But, yes, in principle, at least, I do very much agree with you.
Blessings.
