Do your part to help the ones that ARE ALREADY BORN....

Are you so deluded as to believe that it is okay to ignore deaths to save others? That is the worst kind of thinking imaginable. The ends never justify the means. You endorse murder because other people are suffering! Insanity in its most disgusting form.

There is only one person doing the judging here. He resides in your mirror. I only say that abortion is wrong and should be stopped. No different than saying murder should be banned or robbery. I do not make any judgements about those who participate or advocate legal abortion. Yet you sit there from your own soapbox and criticize me for not helping others. Which has nothing to do with the abortion. I am only entitled to oppose murder if I give money to Africa apparently.

I was also not aware you possessed psychic ability. You know nothing of how much I help others because I do not self-righteously advertise good deeds to the world. Those who proclaim their good works the loudest are usually those who do the least.

No, I do not "see the context." It doesn't matter how you try to slice it you are saying an unwanted child is better off being aborted. Otherwise why ask the question and include the "aborted otherwise" part? Nice try, but still offensive.

You have yet to explain how stopping people from murdering others is judging them. But you are fine with other people killing. Well, for the record a fetus is biologically alive. Even if you did not have a religious stake in recognizing the fetuses existence, I would have expected you to see the science side of it. A fetus is a living human, no two ways about it.

We are to be a Light unto the world and show the Love of Christ through our works.....

I have humbled myself on these boards and even admit to having problems with specific sins as seen in another topic here in General....

I would not compare you with a Pharisee, but I feel that your actions were prideful.(Though that is for God to say) It is one thing to show your good works. No one is saying they should be hidden, and people do need to serve as examples. But that's not what you were doing. You were using your good works to attack others, and specifically to accuse me of not being charitable enough to have an opinion.

These statements are horrible for two reasons:

1. It is not a competition. Serving by example is what the passage you quoted means, it doesn't mean judging others or using your good deeds to gain leverage on an online discussion.

2. It is illogical. You have no knowledge of my deeds or what I do to help others. I do as best as I can, and I believe that God knows this. Frankly, I do not care whether you do. Your accusations that I do not do good works or that I judge others are baseless. I cannot speak for God as a I said, but I do not feel that is what the Bible intended in the parts you quoted.

I completely disagree with you about the abortion thing, but I also wanted to point out that saying the religious right does nothing for helpless orphans is not true at all. Aside from the countless church organizations, and missionaries, that are working ( and have for many years ) to help there are many families who are part of the"Christian right" that adopt these children. You are making a sweeping generalization that I often hear from those of a more liberal mindset, christian or otherwise, and it is just simply not true. I am a home educator, and I know at least 10 families who have adopted at least one child, most who have adopted 2 or more...two families from our group in Missouri have adopted 10! And aproximately a third of those children are disabled. My husband, and I, were seeking to adopt just before he died, and I still hope to.

I just wanted to point that out to you that it is false to say the RR does nothing for these children. The Lord bless you.

My main gripe is the continued line of questioning about what others are doing concerning charity. Most of us are convicted not to brag about such things. What we do and when we do it are between us and the Lord, Soma. Charity starts at home, my friend.
