The earth turning? pendlum experement.

Why does God send signs, ? on the earth, ? in the heavens. ? why did God send the prophets?

why did Jesus tell us about the signs of the times, ? what were they indicating. ?

why did people repent went Jonah, shared impending destrustion was at the door, ?

why did people return to the Lord.

why does God send judgements, does he warn these judgements are coming. ?

the end times issues isnt for salvation of the souls but for the redemption of those saved already and also for the state of isreal to return and see him whom they have pierced.

in greek and in the romantic languages (this word and its variant)apocolypsos is used for the name of the book of revelation.

it means to reveal as in a statue or showing. when bust was made it was covered with a cloth and removed during a ceremony that we in the west still do.

that is what revalation is all about. the revalation of the lords return and to isreal.

judgment to the sinner, redemption for the saved.

yes sinners will repent but i dont think it will be a lot.

My two cents here. IMO, this is the result of Christians who spend their days and nights consumed in Revelation. They end up obsessed with every tyrant (he's the anti-christ), every epidemic (it's one for the plagues from Rev), every cataclysmic disaster (it's a clear sign of the end). They begin to view everything through the lens of assumptions that there is more to them than there are. Last summer, the oil spill was going to contaminate all or most of the world's water. Nope. About a year ago,the volcano in the Netherlands was supposed to block the sun over much of the earth. Where are all the apologies and retractions for these grand predictions of doom? No one's apologizing. It's like the weathermen. Yesterdays false predictions are never mentioned again. Today they focus on their next prediction.

It never stops, because tomorrow something else will be a source of panic. Word disasters have come and gone, and we've moved on. Tyrants have raged, and not they are dead - not the anti-Christ. My concern is that this takes the focus off of daily abiding in the Lord. I believe Christ will return IN HIS TIME, and I will keep the oil in my lamp. Again, just my :twocents

have you ever first hand witnessed this manifesto ?

Strangelove is sane and believes the earth is stationary...

and I believe that he is saved

is an unsane person a fool?

---
just asking

you said not many

to believe anything takes faith...

sorry if i came off rude

Nope, not rude. You are right about Strangelove. I do remember him saying that. But I believe even he would admit that he is in a very small minority. You're not actually suggesting that a majority of rational sane adults in this world today actually believe the sun orbits around the Earth, are you? I still hold that, relative to the number of rational sane adults that believe the Earth orbits around our sun, those that believe such as Starngelove are a small minority indeed and the chances of the average individual actually encountering or knowing one of them are slim to none. (I mean face to face in real life, not on an anonymous internet forum.)

Johnny may very well be saved. I wasn't saying he was or wasn't. Just asked if he was a Christian because there are many on this forum who admit to being non-Christian, and I don't recall seeing Johnny say one way or the other. I have read a couple of his threads and was wondering about his perspective. However, I have taken note that he has seen my question and refused to answer. Personally, if I was asked that question, I would be pretty quick with my answer!:)

Not sure why you are asking if an "unsane" person is a fool. I never said that and don't think I implied it anywhere. Actually, scripture warns us against calling people fools (as I mentioned on another thread you started). However scripture also says "The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God." (Ps 144:1, KJV), so I guess an exception to the rule would be calling a person who says there is no God a fool. But I don't think that's the same as an "unsane" person.

By the way, what's "unsane"? I'm assuming that is another term for "not sane" or "insane"? (Or was it a typo for "insane"?) I kinda like the word, but just never heard it put that way before.:)

:thumbsup Add my two cents to yours and we have four! Want a gumball?

Oh dear, it's the 21st century now... :lol

This is what i see, firstly as ive shared before, the Lord took me to see Genocide, over 1.000.000 slaughtered in 100 days Rwanda, came suddenly, with little or no warning, the unexpected when least expected.
Fine on the wednesday, on the thursday all hell broke lose.

The Lord tolled me, The storm is coming, the sword is out.

It is also written, the sword of the Lord is out, flashing like lighting from East to West, polished for slaughter, judgement.

we know its the eleventh hour, we also see the six seals, follwed by the seventh.
Take the second seal, peace is taken from the earth, the rider of the red horse given a sword, goes on to speak about death, famine,
This year alone Russia a heat wave, destroyed the crops, the same has just happened in Australia, worst rain for ten years, has flatterned the crops, texas drought.

I can see three storms in progress, Financail, natural, war. the world wide Hurrican is turning, the whirl pool.

Experts tell us looking at all the data, taking every thing into consideration, we are heading into the perfect storm.
They call an E.T

what is the Lord showing you??? what are you seeing??? what is the spirit of the Lord saying to the church???

we are tolled if we do not warn the people, as watchmen, their blood is on our hands.

we are also tolled a mulitude in the valley of discission.

work while you have the light, as darkness comes when no man can work.

How can they call apon the Lord if they have not heard, and when the Gospel has been preached, in all the world, the end shall come.
To call apon the Lord while he is near , to seek the Lord while he may be found.
