The Hatred For Obama

You Know, I have been through about 10 or 12 presidents in my life, and never have I seen so much hatred for a president. And he is just getting started, there were presidents who allowed slavery and did all kinds of things, but never have I seen this much hatred for any president, even the worse one, Warren Harding. Presidents have done some crazy stuff through out history, but why is this man being picked on like this, it makes you wonder. Then they say, I don't hate him. Oh yes you do, you hate him with all your might. Even Christians hate him, I see it on this board, and this is very alarming, and they also hate him with all of their might. This topic that I started is about (hatred) because I can see it in people, and I can hear it in people, even on this board I can see it in people for this man. Seems like some people would rather see Hitler in office, rather than Obama.

We are finding out the Czars he's appointed are Radicals. And the investigations are not over, there are more yet to be uncovered and exposed for what they are.

Why do you not see the Radicals and corruption that surrounds him? ... and he is in cahoots with these people. He was affiliated with them in the past and now he places them in positions in the government and calles them Czars.... (typical Chicago style .... "untouchables") The congress has no say so over them.

Never has any other president assigned so many Czars to bypass the congress!

If it were any other person standing for exactly the same thing there would be just as much contesting of his socialistic agenda. He wants to CHANGE thw whole of everyones insurance policies by restricting what doctors can and cannot do for their patients. THAT is major BIG GOVERNMENT means of gaining control of the people. He already bailed out the banks and auto industry which are now government owned to some extent. THAT is major BIG GOVERENMENT interference. Why didn't he give the people back their money rather than bailing out these giant companies, which by the way gave huge amounts of that money as bonus payouts to their head honchos?


What other president apologized to other countries tyrant leaders like he did, and in the process insulted American soldierss for helping these countries overcome tyrant oppressors?

It makes no difference who is in office, IF any other person had such a background, had such an agenda, they too would be spoken out against by others just the same. Especially over this crazy health care bill that he and his adminsitration want to pass. Do you want your heath care rationed to you? do you want your doctors restricted by the Government? Do you want your health insurance controlled by these restrictions the BIG GOVERNMENT will want to place on them?

I think that Obama is getting the full force of something that has been building for quite some time.

For a number of years now, government has been getting bigger and bigger and spending has been going higher and higher. It didn't matter if there were Republicans in control or Democrats, it just kept going up and up and up.

People have been telling their elected representative to slow down, stop spending and to take care of things that many Americans want done.

And, people have been ignored. No matter who has been elected, it seems that as soon as they get to Washington the attitude is "forget the constituents, I'm doing what's going to help me and my party".

Then, the conservatives last hope, Bush, threw conservatism under the bus in the last few years of his Presidency and the Republicans, rather than secure a real conservative candidate favored John McCain. So that many folks felt that there was absolutely no choice whatsoever for them to vote for.

Then, Obama is elected and we got everything people have hated about Big Government times ten. Now, to be fair to Obama, Obama is trying to do pretty much exactly what he said he was going to do. The thing is, most people here in America do not want to morph into a European style socialist nation. We more or less want government to be on our side, act as a watchdog, regulate things so that people can get a fair shake, but not to take over. Obama is perceieved as someone who is taking over. He said he didn't want to run a car company, then fired GM's CEO. He said he didn't want to run big business, but appointed a czar to regulate how much private companies can pay out in wages and bonuses. He said that he wanted to save Americans money on health care then starts to put together a bill that will raise health care cost astronomically.

People have had enough. They want Washington's attention. They want Washington to stop the rush, rush, rush to change, passing bills that haven't been read, spending money that we don't have. Americans are smart enough to know that we are on a road that cannot be sustained and this Congress and President have put the pedal to the metal.

As President, Obama is Washington. All Presidents have that distinction, they are the recognized leader and therefore the buck stops with them. In this Obama is no different. So, because people have finally reached the tipping point, the slow boil that has built up for years now has finally bubbled over, it's Obama that is getting hit full force with the heat.

And, I for one, although I don't care for almost any of his policies, admire the fact that he is handling the pressure with grace and dignity.

As you all know, I was a republican for 30 something years until last year, and some of Obama's stuff bugs me, but I don't hate him, I have love for him just like I did for George, who I voted for twice, and I still love the guy. I have seen people look at him with hate in their eyes that is scary.

Lewis, your post appears to ask for honesty so I will give you my honest opinion though I seldom talk about politics. I do not hate this man as you state but I DO hate his stance and everything that he has chosen to represent.

Throughout history and the Bible when God's people have turned their backs on him, God has allowed either great calamity to fall on his people or total destruction of nations for lack of faith in him or for faith in other gods. We now have a leader who for whatever reason decided it was not necessary to place his hand over his heart in respect for our flag. I have seen men die so that he has the freedom to do as he chooses, however, as president he now has a responsibility to show that flag respect, wheter he chooses to or not, wheter he respects it or not, it is his duty as our president.

You stated that we have had many presidents who have done crazy stuff, and I agree with that. We have also had presidents who were un-believers, but I think that you would have a hard time showing us a president who had no respect for God and no respect for the United States of America.

I hate him....why because I do not like him? You can dislike someone without wishing ill upon them. You are encouraged to biblically try to love your enemies. A hard thing to practice....really makes me sad that all too often because there is something not liked....or someone cannot think the world of him...that they must hate him. Why is no one who disliked Bush accused of the same?

I agree also. We as Christains are supposed to be wittnessing God's Love to the world - what does the world say when they see how much Obama hate is on this forum, and around the world - by Christians!

Lewis, I compared Obama to the Anti Christ, but I did not say he was the Anti Christ and my viewpoint in was clear. On the day Obama was elected I was shocked to see the millions of Americans chant "Yes we can" during Obama's speech. There were people crying and saying how Obama was saving America. This is a reflection of how the Anti-Christ will be. When Jesus came the first time the Jews were waiting for the Messiah, they were in turmoil and everything looked like a lost cause. The Roman empire had occupied Jerusalem and the Jews were looking for their great savior. The Jews were in desperate need. When the Anti Christ comes the world will be in need of a great leader and I am sure many will be the same way the Americans were before Obama. Obama is a deceiver, and although I pray that he may become a believer, he is not searching for God, he already believes there are many ways to the father, he has decided to take the wide road. Most people of color think that all this hatred towards him is because of the color of his skin. President Carter seems to think so too. And as for me, I know that it plays a big and major part in (some, Note, I said some) some peoples hatred for him, they think that people of color are stupid and should not hold such a high position. They just can't get past skin color, and God loves us all the same, this is one crazy world, well one day I won't have to put up with all this hate, because there will not be any in the New Jerusalem.

You think speaking out against Government Control is Hate and fear? :o

You think speaking out against the horrible things a person stands for is hate for that person? :o

And you think that speaking out against a health care system that will rob you of quality care but will insist on rationing what treatment you can and cannot have is fear? :o

If I told you that I was going to take your money and give it to some really rich dude, and you have no right to say anything about it, but you better love me because I did something that any old enemy would do to rob you, would you call that hate and fear?


If I told you that I was going to tell your doctors that you only qualify for a pain pill because the operation is too expensive or, since your parents are old maybe you should consider having them put to sleep through injection or pulling the plug because it's cheaper, and really you have no other choice, because government rationing says it's really the only choice you have according to the set standards, (you know, catch 22) so, you can't say anything about it. You can't speak out against it because those in favor of this communisitic type system already made it a government mandate. And really, those few people in charge of writing the rules will tell you stop speaking fear and hate against us, how dare you, don't you know we are doing what is best for you? And hey, you're supposed to love us? We know what we are doing. Would you call speaking out against such a take over and control over your choices hate and fear?

If we speak out and point out any type of wrong doing, and say it is wrong, we don't want this wrong doing to continue, look what it is all about! Is that a bad witness? Is that hating the person?

If your parents or friends point out to you the wrong you are up to and tell you it is wrong to stop doing that, look what it will lead to! Is that a bad witness? Is that hating you? If they hate what wrong things you choose to take a stand for, is that hating you? Is that speaking fear?

Speaking out against a wrong is not hating the person.
