Many churches preach the gospel without mentioning the blood of Jesus. Even modern Bible translations remove the blood out of their text. Why?

The importance of the blood of Christ
 
While Christ Jesus did purchase us by His blood for God usually the person of Christ is highlighted.
Its not do you believe in the blood its do you believe in Jesus?
 
Many historians believe that Christ exists. The Gospel is believing the work that Christ finished, that He died on the cross for our sins, shedding His blood for us, and rising again on the third day.

Trusting Christ yes! But we need to know what Christ did for us to be able to trust in Him!

Hence why it's important to explain the blood of Christ.

Romans 5:9 KJV
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
 
If anyone states, "I don't need Jesus I can just ask God to forgive my sins", then the importance of the shed blood of Jesus is given as a reply.

"Its not for you to choose how to forgive sin"

God the Father=>and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
