The Jesus Way

I can't help but listen to this song with thoughts of how very, very few really live out that example. And I'm as guilty as anyone, so I'm not pointing fingers, but just, hopefully adding understanding to the message. Can we help those who are suffering in a calamity in their lives. Can we offer love to those who aren't like us? Can we live with the neighbor across the street who may have come from some far-off nation? Can those who are born again believers in the one true and living God whose Son's name is Jesus love those around themselves no matter where they were born on the face of this earth? Or where they may have called home in years past? Can we really look at any other human being and understand that they were created by the same God and that God asks us to love them and tell them about His Son? Are we able to live that much like Jesus?

But why is she so thankful for those born in October? Do they do this same song 12 times a year?

This song reminds me of back when I first made the decision to choose Christ. I had been living in darkness, and for all intents was serving the Devil through music quite consciously, yet there was no joy in my life. And then I remember just sitting in my room reading the Bible for the first time, thinking, "If people lived like the way it describes in this book, the world would be a better place." So I made my decision right there. Even if others might not, I would. That was many years ago, and it hasn't always been easy. Sometimes walking in forgiveness takes a lot of work and surrender, and becoming long-suffering for the sake of others, but I have found that it leads to joy and happiness, and true fulfillment in life.

Blessings in Christ, Sister, and thanks for sharing the song. :thumbsup2

I’m in a worship group called Hearts of Truth, and one song we do each month is the Birthday song to celebrate Birthdays. They are Christian songs or worship songs. This song just has a beautiful message though that should be every Christian’s goal
