Just got this in the mail today and had to show it off.

But this thread isn't just a one shot excuse for me..what do you have? Baby, cat, dog, something unusual, something usual? or just something that makes you want to say "Look what I got!". If you got it, I want to see it (within reason.:nono

Personally, I would not eat that, since apparently it was made in 1894. I doubt chocolate stays very fresh for that long.

Well, that's ebay for ya'...seems I'd learn my lesson. Let's just call it, nicely aged.

At least it wasn't a melted glob like has happened in the past....this thing came in a 2'x2'x3'box with ice packs that were still cool when I got it.

Lol, yeah I know what ya mean. Never know when you might see one again if ever. My main question is will it be a happy or sad ending once fully consumed.

Hey, it's pure Hershey's, only one possible ending. :)

On getting another, the seller didn't ship at first, then I noticed the price had jumped way up. When confronted he said he'd ship and still did not, I filed a case against him and finally got it. I think what happened is buyers were getting these melted so he raised the price, a lot, to cover shipping/Pkging. See, when I finally did get it, it came in a 3'X2'x2' box, huge for the item, with 3 ice packs that were still cool and if I'm not mistaken, it was overnighted through UPS (pkg & shipping were pricy). Point being, I probably won't be able to touch one for the less than the $35 I got this one for for the rest of the Summer.

If I do it again it will be in winter...it really is a bargain for Chocolate, for cooking and stuff.

:confused I guess I was the only one planning to eat it in one sitting. I see myself more like :drool.
