The Mark of the Beast and the Seal of God - Part One

The mark of the beast represents those who have been taken captive by the devil, whereas the seal of God depicts those who are set apart unto Christ.

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise

Christ has sealed the Elect unto the day of redemption, and gives us the down payment of His Holy Spirit in our hearts (Eph 4:30, 2 Cor 1:22, John 6:27).

Satan, on the other hand, has caused the ungodly to have an evil heart of unbelief (Luke 8:12, Mark 4:15, Mat 13:12). Satan is able to catch away the word that is planted in the heart of one that is not able to discern the truth. Those who are taught by the Holy Spirit are no longer in darkness, but embrace Jesus who is the light of the world (John 3:21, 8:12, 14:26).

Matt 13:19 When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his heart.

The Greek word Harpazo is translated as catches away or caught up. It also describes seizing with great forcefulness (Mat 11:12, John 10:28-29, Jude 1:23).

1 Thess 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

At the second coming, it will be as it was in the days of Lot and Noah. One shall be taken to inherit destruction, and the other will be caught up or gathered unto Christ. This is the unfortunate fate for all who have not found protection in Christ, and have been deceived into accepting the mark of the beast.

Matt 24:39-40 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left.

The Mark of the Beast and the temple of God
The word mark, as in mark of the beast, is used seven times in the book of Revelations. This same word is also translated as graven or etched, and is used once in the book of Acts.

Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

The Mark of the Beast is etched into the minds of the deceived. This will include those who will fall away because their faith was luke warm to begin with. Our faith must not be based on the wisdom of men, or the works of the law, but in the power of God (2 Thes 2:11, 1 Cor 2:5, Gal 2:16, Rev 3:15-17).

The second advent of Christ is when the Elect are gathered together. Christ will not return until the man of sin is revealed and a great falling away occurs (2 Thes 2:3, Mark 13:24-26).

2 Thess 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The Elect of Christ are His temple, and His Holy Spirit resides in them; this is the mark of a true Born Again believer. Likewise, the mark of the beast represents those who have accepted the spirit of this world that resides in their minds and hearts (1 John 4:3, Acts 5:3, John 13:2).

Contrary to the popular teachings of a rebuilt temple for the jewish people, this will not occur. The false teachers in the church do not have an understanding of the temple of God, as the god of this world has blinded them from the true light of the gospel of Christ (2 Cor 4:4).

The message hidden to most in 2 Thess 2:4, is as follows. If any one worships the man of sin or Satan as god, then the temple or dwelling place in us that is designed and set apart for God, is occupied by this impostor.

1 Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

If any man defiles the temple of God by taking the mark of the beast, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are (1 Cor 3:17).

So the phrase,” He as God sits in the Temple of God” is no longer a mystery. Scripture informs us that Satan is the god of this world.

Satan imitating God, dwells in the place of God, showing himself that he is a god (1 Cor 6:19; 2 Cor 6:16; Acts 7:48; 17:24; Rev 11:19). This indeed is the mark of the beast.

God no longer dwells in temples made with hands (Acts 7:48).

He as God sits in the Temple of God is in reference to Satan dwelling where he ought not to. The mark of the beast is upon all who obey the lusts of the flesh because their minds are corrupted by the spirit of Satan (Eph 2:1-3).

The Mark of the Beast worshiping the god of this world
And the Devil said unto Jesus,” all these things will I give to thee, if thou will fall down and worship me” (Matt 4:9).

Jesus said unto them,”I Am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not, but if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive (John 5:43).

Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The true gospel of Christ can only be understood by those who are baptized with the Holy Spirit. The natural man can not truly serve God, nor can he receive the things of the Spirit of God. The Words of God are spiritually discerned, the carnal mind can not comprehend them (1 Cor 2:14).

Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

It is possible that the image of the beast and the abomination of desolation are one in the same, as both transpire during the great tribulation period (Rev 13:11-15, Dan 12:7-13).

Matt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Matt 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Matt 24:24 For there shall arise a false Christ, and a false prophet and (he) shall show great signs and wonders…

These signs and wonders that the false prophet performs will deceive all but the very elect (Rev 13:14, 19:20).

Dan 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the continual, and place the abomination of desolation

Those who receive the mark of the beast worship the dragon or Satan, as well as the beast that he empowers.

Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?

Instead of fearing and giving glory to God who created all things, the deceived will fear the Beast as a result of his signs and lying wonders (Rev 14:7, 2 Thes 2:9)

2 Tim 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Satan can easily corrupt the minds of those who are not in Christ. The mark of the beast is upon those whom the god of this world has blinded from the gospel of Christ (2 Cor 11:3, 2 Cor 4:4 ).

The Thessalonians Paul was speaking with must have wondered what happened on there death bed then because Paul said to them

1 Thess 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Because if people were told by Paul that why they were alive and remained they would be caught in the air and so shall be with the Lord and it never happened then Paul is a liar. Paul the false prophet. And it can't be taken out of context because he was also talking about those who had fallen alseep.

Same with the High Priest, Jesus said in the High Priests lifetime the High Priest would see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with his army.

Same with the diciples Jesus said they would witness many things.

People these days call Jesus and Paul truth, but dont believe what they said to the people they literally spoke with, or wrote to like Pauls epistles.

Did Paul give a timeline when Jesus would return.............I think not as no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, Matthew 24:36.

The Disciples who sat with Jesus on the Mt. of Olives in Matthew 24:3 asked Him three questions, when shall these things be, what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Jesus taught them those things which would come first and the signs to watch for. The disciples could not understand anything yet of Christ death or resurrection for they only knew Him as a prophet teacher. It would not be until they were indwelled with the Holy Spirit that they would understand those teachings.

Paul was teaching the Thessalonians what will happen when Christ returns, but never the day or hour of His coming.

Sure know ones knows the day or time, but Jesus told a few people they would see his coming. Even some standing there would not taste death till the see him. Paul said they who were alive and remained would be caught up after the ressurection of the dead in Christ. So Paul had to at least be still be alive and not dead after the ressurection.

Remember Jesus return was to be a day of tribulation and he would deliver the Kingdom to God and take the souls waiting under the alter who were sleeping and told to wait a little white longer that was the ressurection of the dead in Christ, and bring salvation to the world and the Temple of God is open.

The world should be rejoicing not having a cry.

The old heaven and earth pass away and the world lives with salvation. No more death, no more suffering, the past was judged and each given there reward.

We get caught straight up to God.

When Paul said "we who are alive" was not speaking about those who were alive at that time of him teaching this, but was explaining that whether in their time or in the future when Christ returns that those who are alive that are in Christ will also be gathered with those who sleep in the grave that are in Christ and caught up together to meet Jesus in the air.

1Thessalonians 4:
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

If what you were saying was true then Paul would have said at the last Trump all people will be get gathered together. Not the dead will rise first.

The dead in Christ will rise first, then everyone else after the ressurection get caught up in the clouds, because Christ has returned and given the Kingdom to God.

So everyone now who dies does not go to the grave, does not sleep, but gets caught straight up to God.

Paul was waiting for Christs return. He said when Christ returns the dead will be raised as Christ brings salvation and everlasting Kingdom, and after that there is no more death, Paul and the Thessalonians would be caught straight up to God, they won't go to the grave and sleep.

Just like the diciples, when Paul seen all the signs he knew the Kingdom was at the door. Jesus return was given by signs. When they seen Jerusalem completely slaughtered and the great city fall and burning with fire, and the temple levelled.

Christ brings salvation to the world and all the old is done away with, the old heaven and earth is finished, the Law and the Prophets. The dead are raised and the Temple of God is open, the heavenly Jerusalem. Christ established an everlasting Kingdom.

Paul wrote 1 Corinthians about A.D. 56 and 1 Thessalonians about A.D. 51 and John wrote Revelations about 96 A.D so Paul could not know anything about the seventh trumpet as it was not yet revealed. Paul would know of the trumpets that were used in the OT as being trumpets of God and this is probably why he said and with the trump of God as that would announce Christ coming.

Yes, the dead in Christ will rise first from their graves as we are then caught up with them to the clouds to meet Jesus in the air and will be with Christ forever in the New Jerusalem after this old Earth and heaven is made new again.

Jesus has never returned for anyone after His ascending to sit at the right hand of the Father being our mediator before God, John 3:13. The resurrection of the dead has not happened yet as it is only our breath/spirit/soul that returns back to God who gave it when this physical body returns to the dust of the ground from where it came from, Genesis 2:7; Ecc 12:7. No one is resurrected until the one and only return of Christ who calls His Bride to meet Him in the air and then forever we will be with Him in all of Gods glory.

Big difference. And you missed the fact that Christ returns for a 1000 year reign on earth with the Siants
No one is taken to Heaven

I Believe this!!!

But people believe Christ come once to bear the sin of many, but they won't accept his salvation because they refuse his return and would rather live in the times of 30ad-70ad with all the diciples who were waiting for his return and to see all the signs.

When we are absent from the body, we are present with the Lord (2 Cor 5:8). However at the end of this age we shall be with Him in a transformed spirit, soul and body (1 Thes 5:23).

1 Cor 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The timing of when the Elect are changed is obviously at the end of the tribulation period, which has a duration of three and one half years.

Rev 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Rev 10:7, refers to Rev 11:15, which is the seventh trumpet. This is also a reference to the last trumpet mentioned in 1Cor 15:52.

The last trump is at the end of The Great Tribulation period on earth, when we shall be changed, and put on incorruption and immortality. The Pre tribulation Rapture deception is a heresy, and is one of many false beliefs adhered to by those who are merely playing church.

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Our redemption and Salvation are one in the same and are realized upon Christ’s second coming. Where our Lord is, there also is His kingdom. His first coming was to allow for our salvation, and the second will be to bring our salvation.

But people believe Christ come once to bear the sin of many, but they won't accept his salvation because they refuse his return and would rather live in the times of 30ad-70ad with all the diciples who were waiting for his return.

1 Thess 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which are dead in Jesus will God bring with him.

The dead in Christ, are the first to put on incorruption and immortality. Contrary to the Pre tribulation Rapture deception teaching, Christ descends from heaven with the elect, He does not take anyone up to Heaven (1 Cor 15:42-53, 1 Thes 4:13-17).

1 Thess 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first

Is it really plausible that Christ would both bring the dead with Him to earth, and then takes those from earth up to heaven? The Pre tribulation Rapture deception story quickly looses credibility in light of the true teachings of Christ Jesus.

Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him.

If we truly were taken to heaven as taught by the Pre tribulation Rapture deception group, Christ would not need to bring anyone to earth.

1 Thess 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the cloud, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

This verse above is the primary one used by those who teach the Pre tribulation Rapture deception. After the tribulation, the Lord returns in a cloud, and all eyes shall see Him (Rev 1:7). There is no secret gathering, and Christ only returns once in a very visible manner. It also should be noted that Christ will return to this earth a second time, and nowhere in scripture is it ever implied that He ever returns to Heaven.

Paul was waiting for Christs return. He said when Christ returns the dead will be raised as Christ brings salvation and everlasting Kingdom, and after that there is no more death, Paul and the Thessalonians would be caught straight up to God, they won't go to the grave and sleep.
.
This should answer your question regarding the timing of when Paul receives his crown of righteousness
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

There is not one Bible verse that suggests we are ever to go up to heaven with resurrected bodies. This transformation happens at the last trumpet judgment when the Elect reign with Christ on a new earth.

Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

When our inheritance or treasure is mentioned in association with Heaven, it always refers to one of two promises; the crown of righteousness (our Salvation) is given to the Elect at His second coming, when He returns from Heaven; the New Jerusalem which comes down from Heaven, represents our final dwelling place with Jesus after the millennium reign on earth (1 Thes 4:15-17).

2 Tim 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

The apostle Paul clearly points out that he will receive the crown of righteousness at the same time as all those that love His appearing do; this occurs upon Christ's return to the earth. To imagine that one shall be taken to receive the reward of eternal life before the tribulation, while the apostle waits until the end of the tribulation for his is preposterous.

2 Tim 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Why do people think Christ is King if they dont believe he returned and he sits at the right hand of the Father.

Christ can't be King until he returns.

Think about what you are suggesting here. If Jesus is God, which most Christians affirm and He sits at the right hand of God.
THEN THERE ARE TWO GODS PERIOD!

Or we can look at the true intended meaning of the right hand of God without the words changed to support this strange new doctrine.
The right hand of God is in reference to the glorious power of the creator of Heaven and earth. Our saving grace by means of Christ’s mighty and miraculous works, as well as His righteous wrath on the ungodly, are attributes of the right hand of God.

Ex 15:6 Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

The right hand of God is a metaphor describing the incredible and majestic power of God.

Psa 48:10 According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

The right hand of God is symbolic of the righteousness of the Lord that strengthens us, and holds us up (Isa 41:10).

Isa 48:13 Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

The right hand of God is a figure of speech from the Creator who spoke the world into existence (Gen 1:3-27).

Yahshua, our Messiah said “you shall see the Son of man sitting gloriously as the right hand of power”. The right hand of God will also come again in the clouds of heaven (Mark 14:61-62).

Mark 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

The words sat on, in the verse above are translated incorrectly. In cannot be said, that our Lord sat on the right hand of God; this is to suggest that we are talking about two separate Gods.

Isa 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

When Isaiah says prepare the way of the Lord (Yahweh), a highway for God (Elohim), he is not speaking of two God’s.

Mat 3:3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

John in the desert is speaking of this same Lord that Isaiah is referring to.

Yes they are estimates, but yet written way before John was given the revelations and no the second Temple was destroyed in 70 CE again before John received the Revelations.
