The Meaning of Your Username

[Slider]

On other forums I went under the username FHII, inspired by my name. Why "Slider"? Don't know.... I wanted a change. I started to try to come up with a real clever Bible based name, but decided not to bother. For whatever reason, the word "Slider" came to my mind. I was thinking of a type of pitch used in Baseball. It also refers to the Cleveland Indian's mascot. I have no idea why that came to mind!

 

[Aardverk]

I chose it simply to put the joke in my signature line,

"In the beginning was the word and the word was Aardverk'

but the moderators wouldn't let me do it.

(For the slow witted - Aardverk or Aardvark is the first word in the dictionary)

Some kid used to call me Pard in elementary school. It's short for Shepard, which is my middle name.

I'm glad you told me cuz I didn't get the joke. I guess i know now what catagory I fit into!
