What is it you think the Messiah has to fulfill that Jesus didn't?
Would be quite helpful if you gave examples and demonstrated how Jesus did not fulfill them. I've heard this argument before, and I suppose it's a necessary position to take if you are Jewish non-believer in Jesus since otherwise your whole faith kinda falls apart.
A common Christian argument is that Jesus did fulfill all the prophecies, every single one, so the two claims are in direct opposition.

A misconception concerning OT prophecy is that the Messiah will bring peace to the entire world before judgment day, but the OT never says this.
Jesus taught that He gives peace to His followers.

Here are some messianic prophecies which have not been fulfilled:

Here we have very clearly physical redemption from earthly enemies: "And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword", "Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off." These are very clear verses that can not be misinterpreted; when the messiah comes the Jewish enemies are going to be slaughtered. And the one coming forth from Bethlehem is to be a ruler in Israel, that is a king, or maybe nowadays a president, but not a wandering preacher and miracle healer.

They say that he did ride on a donkey, like the whole Middle East in those days, but that is where it stops. He did not bring any peace, the battle bow, the horses and the chariots, symbols of war, were not cut off from Jerusalem, and his dominion was not from sea to sea and to the ends of the earth; as a matter of fact, he did not have any dominion at all.
In order to get around this problem, the Christian church invented the "second coming". However, nowhere in the Hebrew scriptures is it written that the messiah would come once, get himself killed, and come again in a second coming. This is a pure rationalization of Jesus' failure to function in any way as a messiah. Nowhere in any of the above prophecies does it indicate that there will be a gap of at least 2000 years between the birth of the messiah and the redemption. Nowhere does it speak about a messiah being tortured to death and coming back thousands of years later.
Jeremiah 23:5-6; "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS."
Jeremiah 33:14-16: "IN THOSE DAYS AND AT THAT TIME, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. IN THOSE DAYS shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness."
When the branch of righteousness springs forth to David, when the messiah comes, THEN, IN THOSE DAYS, Judah will be saved and Jerusalem shall dwell safely. That means that it is impossible to squeeze in two thousand or more years between the coming of the messiah and the redemption of Judah and Jerusalem. Out goes the 'second coming'. However, there wasn't any redemption in the days of Jesus. Forty years after his death, in 70 CE, Jerusalem was totally destroyed by the Romans, the second Temple was burned down, and the Jews exiled. No way that the above prophecy was fulfilled.

Isaiah 11; "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Also here we have a messiah who is going to kill the evil people: "And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked." And after that we get the better world, when it says: "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them etc." This is what is supposed to happen, as soon as there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse (the father of King David) and a Branch shall grow out of his roots; that is as soon as the messiah comes. Nowhere here is mentioned that the messiah will be killed and that these prophecies will happen at least 2000 years later. On the contrary; when the messiah comes redemption comes. And also for this messianic prophecy you don't have to be a brain surgeon or a rocket scientist in order to see that it is not fulfilled. Nothing of this all was done by Jesus. Conclusion: He was not the messiah.

Could the Messiah come if there is no temple?

I saw in the night visions,

This one has been partially fulfilled as His enemies have not been humbled yet.
The Lord says to my lord,
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies your footstool.”
He knew what His outcome for such a answer would be yet He stated so regardless.
But Jesus was silent. Then the high priest said to him, ‘I put you under oath before the living God, tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.’ 64 Jesus said to him, ‘You have said so. But I tell you,
From now on you will see the Son of Man
seated at the right hand of Power
and coming on the clouds of heaven.’
Jesus fulfilled hundreds of prophecies, and he will fulfill the balance on His Second Coming. Messiah is both a suffering servant and a conquering king. He will be the latter when He returns.
As the year 6000 AM is less than a century away (the Hebrew calendar is at least 150 years off), I would like to know who else comes close to fulfilling all the prophecies that Jesus of Nazareth did.

So knowing how the NT says the woman (one flesh with her) husband (Christ) gives birth to their offspring (faithful believers), it's not difficult to understand how the one new man (all believers collectively) come from those who suffered preaching the gospel so Gods' people would be complete,

Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: Rom.9:27
So coupled with the knowledge from the beginning of the chapter, we see how many Jewish people reject Jesus as their Messiah, but the remnant who wrrote the NT and many who believed their words didn't and some Jewish people believe in Jesus to this day.
Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. Rom.11:5 KJV
And we all know believing gentiles are one body with believing Jews so what about Micah saying the Messiah draws his people to their homeland? It's right here:

And the Bible is everywhere today.
And the Messiah is revered by many worldwide.
So Micah says believers are at rest when the Assyrian being a ruthless killer which persecuted Israel and other nations comes into the land. Micah no doubt knew what God told Isaiah would happen and did happen before him,
And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses. 2Kin.19:35
So if we believe the Messiah defeated death at the hands of ruthless killers, there's no need to fear Assyrians.
And Nimrod thought he'd build a tower to heaven so God turned that idea into babel,
Nimrod......the beginning of his kingdom was Babel......They said......let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven and let us make us a name.......The Lord said.......let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. Gen.10:9-10, 11:4-7
So this is why understanding Gods' way of salvation is through the Messiah who defeated Assyrians and Babylon along with a host of unseen fallen spirits.

No one should be forced to believe Jesus will be The Judge of all, but that's the Jesus the Bible talks about.

Psalm 110:1; "The Lord says to my lord: Sit at my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool."
This Psalm is most likely written by an officer in David's army. It says here; The Lord, (in Hebrew Y-H-W-H) says to my lord, (in the sense of master). This is literally translated: Y-H-W-H says to my master: etc. This applies to David, just like the next verse, "The Lord sends forth from Zion your mighty sceptre. Rule in the midst of your foes." This is what King David did, God made his enemies a footstool to him, and he ruled from Zion (Jerusalem).
Verse 5 and 6: "The Lord is at your right hand, He will shatter kings on the day of his wrath. He will execute judgement among the nations, filling them with corpses." King David slaughtered many of his enemies, as written in this Psalm, but all these things that were never done by Jesus.
Therefore it makes no sense to say that this applies to Jesus and not to king David.
Here is the explanation of the great Jewish sage from the Middle Ages, rabbi Moshe ben Nachman, a.k.a. the Ramban:
King David was the composer who wrote the Psalms with the aid of the holy spirit. He composed them for the purpose of having them sung
before the altar of God. He himself did not sing them, nor was he permitted to do so, for that function was forbidden to him by law of the Torah. (Deuteronomy 18:6-7) Instead, he gave the Psalms to the Levites, so that they would sing them. This is clearly written in the book of I Chronicles 16:7 Therefore, King David perforce expressed the psalm in the language appropriate for utterance by the Levites. Thus, if King David had said; "The Eternal said to me", the levites repeating these words would be uttering falsehood. Instead, it is proper for the Levite to say in the Temple: "The Eternal saith unto my lord: (that is to King David) Sit thou at My right hand."
The purport of the term 'sitting' is to state that the Creator, blessed be He, will protect him during his lifetime and that He will save him and

Still, the messianic prophecies are not fulfilled.
Do all of the prophecies have to be fulfilled at once? I don't recall reading that in Scripture.

What we have according to Jesus and His followers is that nothing evil can harm Gods' children and that is God's promise proven by the Messiah conquering death.
For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth,nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom.8:38-39 KJV

So comment on Jesus while ignoring everything Jesus said. Christians don't ignore what the prophets said, but Judaism ignores what Jesus said.

Why would I not accept what My Lord stated from the same scripture as one who spoke Aramaic and read from scrolls in Hebrew in their 1st century forms? I am greatly influenced by the Spirit of Christ in me. Thats how I know with certainty Jesus is who He claimed to be.
Whose Son is the Christ? Apparently, David was calling God's Christ His Lord. The one who was asked to sit at Gods right hand. Where Jesus currently resides. "Until" God humbles His enemies. Then you shall see the Son of Man return on the clouds of heaven in His glory. He will rule the nations with a iron sceptor as is written about Gods annointed ruler in the 2nd psalm. The most exalted king of the earth.
I will tell of the decree of the Lord:
He said to me, ‘You are my son;
today I have begotten you.
8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,
and the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron,
and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

David calls the Christ ‘Lord,’ so how can the Christ be his son?”

And about the most exalted by God that one, Gods firstborn, is appointed to Davids line. And Davids line will endure forever as Jesus is forever.
And I will appoint him to be my firstborn,
the most exalted of the kings of the earth.
28 I will maintain my love to him forever,
and my covenant with him will never fail.
29 I will establish his line forever,
his throne as long as the heavens endure.
And Gods firstborn would be a being not a people and such a being would make such a statement.
