This is part of the problem that needs to be dealt with, but only part. While it's true you can't make a worship style that someone finds boring suddenly seem interesting to them, we also need to deal with the attitude of going to church to only sit in a pew and be entertained as spectators. We have to teach people to take ownership of their local church body and invest something into it, including the worship service, but also including all aspects of the body. And while teaching them to do that, then we (as leaders) have to actually let them do it and encourage them to do it. Many churches make no effort at this at all. They may pay it lip service, but they make no effective effort.worship is what one puts into it. even new worship styles become boring in time.
