the muslim coworker and my big mouth

I made a comment to a muslim coworker and gave her the opionion I had at the time. I regretted saying that later. I was able to correct that mistake. I even learned a few things about islam an her and she I. she doesn't use her Arabic name as few could say it. I could, but most couldn't. she is very western and doesn't wear a hijab at work but does dress as a muslim off work. I have seen pics of her on fb in that garb. I didn't realize she was a muslim until I saw her fb page and the Arabic.

Ive met people who have gone on 10 minute, bigoted tirades against Towel head Muzlums, to me, never suspecting I could be one - to give you some context - I look like a weed smoking hippie, I only eat Halal or Kosher meat which isn't plentiful, so I mainly eat vegetarian - so it can be hard to tell sometimes. I actually find it more funny than offensive.

Im sure whatever you said wasn't the worst thing shes ever heard

oh, I don't trust any muslim probably was bad to her, but she also knew that I was a soldier and figured why I said was because of that reason.

Its not that you dont trust her and love her as a human being, Its just you dont agree with the teachings she has been taught. Is that correct?

at the time, muslim soldiers aka the ana were killing soldiers for no reason other then some minor offense or also treachery. so I meant none were trusted.
