Anyone watch The Pacific? What do you make of it?

I saw a few episodes while trapped in a hotel overnight. It was very good!

I saw a few episodes recently. Looks very good, but not for the faint hearted. I'm pretty sure it's fairly historically accurate, but I haven't looked very far into it in that area.

I love it. Definently my favorite show. Its just so raw. Its also sad at parts.

It was awsome when they were invading that one beach with all of those tanks and things, I was saucer eyed for about ten minuets :o

Very good show, but I would not recommend it to anyone under 18.

I was disgusted that they included sexual scenes and nudity in the show that I think were entirely unwarranted. They did the same with Band Of Brothers, but with this, more so.

Yeah I didn't like that either. To me it was just uncalled for and a distraction to WW2

I just got the offical Pacific novel to the TV series with notes by historians. I look forward to reading it.

I also saw the series on TV. It was a good remake of the history of WW2 in the pacific.
Th book of Sledgehammer is on my desk, so i can read the next few days.
