The Prosperity Gospel

delineate poor.

I make more then many locally per hour ,but not rich by no means .
I mortgage my house ,true ownership isn't real as you fail to pay ad valorem and its taken.

I'd love to try your food!

But on the prosperity gospel: the deal is, you give money to your pastor. Then God gives you more money back. The more you give, the more and quicker the payback. As you can see, it does not really appeal to those who are intelligent and rich already, but to people who are desperate, not particularly well educated, and most importantly, poor. This is a travesty of Jesus' message, and should be called out whenever and wherever it is to be found.

Best wishes, 2RM.
It's called fleecing the flock into a pretend blab it and grab it delusion in order to line the pocket of the rich. This reminds me of the woman with two mites. She gave out of the abundance of her heart all she had to give, while the rich just gave from the abundance of their money and not giving from the heart.

Mar 12:41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
Mar 12:42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
Mar 12:43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
Mar 12:44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

God's Provision
Php 4:10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
Php 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Php 4:12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Php 4:14 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
Php 4:15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
Php 4:16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
Php 4:17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
Php 4:18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
Php 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Php 4:20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

When it comes to the need of the great commission we are all in this together to move forward in building the kingdom of God here on earth. Taking no thought for ourselves in giving from the heart as God will always supply our needs. Anything above our needs is our own gain, after giving to the works of the Lord first.
