My apologies lovely. This wasn't so much directed at you as it was Drew's comment. It's wise to attempt to understand what one means, so as not to miss something that could very well be valid or relevant. From what it appears however, the attempt seems to be to equate God's judgment with a human court of law (if I've been reading it right). I think one can run into all kinds of problems here if viewed in this light (Does God have a jury influencing His decisions? Are angels called to jury duty?, etc.).lovely said:GNB,
I am really trying to understand Drew's point more than anything. Drew says we are imputed righteousness, but in the sense that it is an ascribed status of 'legal righteousness' rather than an imputation of Christ's. I wanted to read more verses about this, and also try to see where both lead.
