In the interests of balance and fairness please now report how the Palestinian authorities support and protect Christians, how they seek to prevent attacks on Israeli citizens and are active in promoting peace.

Seems like someone sees them as a burden, huh? God has made Israel a burden to all of the world. From the time of the destruction of the temple in 70 A.D., the Jewish people have been crisscrossing the world and have become a burden. But that was God's plan for them, according to your piece of Scripture, and I agree.

WWII saw the Jewish nation become a burden. Even today, there are many nations who are so supportive of Israel, that is has become a burden. However, for me, I'd much rather carry a burden for God's people than throw my lot in with a group that actually denies that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob even exists beyond the first few books of the Scriptures. I wonder if our OP has read that God also told us that it was His plan to make Israel a stench to all the nations?

Your Scripture actually is more plain in the NIV: On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.
I'm just not sure that God wants us to abandon Israel to the fate that the middle east is trying to bring to her.

You see, this guy doesn't even understand that Jesus had to die and God used His people to accomplish that. He believes that they betrayed Jesus, when they actually helped him to accomplish his task and it was his Father's will that they do so.

Look, I'm proud to be a supporter of God's people Israel and I don't want to be in that number, when God begins to clear out the enemies of Israel, as He has promised to one day do. I know that Israel is still the apple of His eye. While they were rebellious against Him, they did accomplish the task of bringing God's salvation to the whole world. That's what God wanted them to do. They wrote the Scriptures and they brought to us the everlasting righteousness that the angel told David that they would do.

A bit heavy for the lounge, don't you think? Besides, Biden is already against Israel. Don't you see how well this nation (USA) is going with all his other policies? That's an indicator for sure. Netanyahu will have his work cut out for him dealing with this administration.

Reading comprehension can be a struggle with the Scriptures. I was just on another thread speaking about how one need the infilling of the Holy Spirit for gaining understanding and wisdom from the Scriptures. It's not a book that just anyone can read and suddenly they know God.

BTW, what you have copied from Ezekiel is concerning the days of Israel's punishment for its wickedness and those days did come and they have passed. There are plenty of passages, as I have posted, that tell us that God does relent and does restore Israel in the latter days.

The average Israeli has as much interest in religion as the average westerner.
Yes many Jews who practise there religion are hostile to Christians.
Yes this is not reported, any more than you and the media Don recognise the very real persecution of Christians throughout the Muslim world.


You seem to think they are innocent of any wrong doing.

Take a look at what has happened toChristians under Islam and compare it to how Christians are treated I Israel.

But yeah. I might not agree with everything you're saying, OP. But I agree that we are under no biblical or moral obligation to support the modern nation of Israel.
 
Last time I seen issues in the so called Israeli-palistine conflict in the zone was a Jew and Arab arguing over a seat chair.

The Jew was like that's the Jews chair and the Arab was like thats the Arabs chair. They both arguing for ages over who owes the chair and if it was the Jews or the Arabs chair.

Classic brothers arguing. Just give each other a hug and have some love. Family. Abraham.

Comparing one to another does not alter the atrocities the Israelis have been and still are doing to the Palestinian people.

The Israel of today should be classified as a terrorist-sponsoring rouge state.
