The Writers of the Bible

All the Bible writers who spoke on the subject of homosexuality state that homosexuality is a sin. Is there some reason they would be wrong?

The reason I ask, is that some people are stating that homosexuality is not a sin, as long as the homosexuals wait till they get married to have sex. (I don’t think you will ever find two men who want to marry each other who aren’t ALREADY having sex.)

American Football lover, people know the truth. They want to do what the feel is good for them.

Do not mind the people who carry magazines to church leaving their bibles under the bed.

What IS right and wrong - is it our subjective perceptions of what is acceptable to public sentiment at any one point in time in any one place? If 51% of the electorate consider homosexuality to be morally justified, does it become so? The religious person who believes in revelation - be they Christian, Muslim, Jew or otherwise - has a connection to the Creator who has the divine right to define boundaries of what is and what is not acceptable. For us, that is the benchmark, and not populations who change their mind every generation based on half-baked logic.

Sure, we can see many wisdoms behind these commandments, many are clear. But the real reason we do or do not do something is for God, and the wisdoms are like bonuses. That's how I see it at least anyway.

God does not change to fit what we want. God does not fit into the box of what is conventional or what we want. The bible is the absolute authority, we change and tow the line for Christ. End of story, an abomination is an abomination. God loves the person, but not the sin.

I agree... We must, must look to God's word as to what is sin and what isn't.

When God's word says it's sin... it's sin. Yesterday, today, forever....

No matter how many states make gay marriage legal, it will never be marriage in God's eyes. No matter what kind of piece of paper, or ring, or whatever can be produced to say, "We're married"... they will still stand as sinners before God...for God calls homosexuality an abomination and God established marriage as between a man and a woman.

No matter how many votes to the contrary, these things will never change.

Fantastic!:thumbsup
