I live in SC. Parts of SC and some other states are going to be hit with an ice storm. I'm really not clear on how severe it will be here. My parents have, thankfully, stocked up on food and such and are (predictably) prepared+preparing for the worst.
I'll be OK, but...some people have to work and such, so I expect accidents, there may be major damage to buildings, and of course...we have homeless people in some of the cities around here who are going to be hard hit, not to mention people who are struggling financially and will have to face increa$ed heating bills and possibly structural damage.
Please pray! I'm kinda worried about our cats. We have 2, and they're getting older. My dad isn't letting them in because one of the indoor dogs despises cats, so that wouldn't work (rough childhood, apparently). Of course, I'm also asking prayer for everybody who's getting hit with this...ice storms are never fun, and a lot of places in the south don't have much equipment to deal with the fall out, or at least not as much as they have in many other places.
And...here's a YouTube link to a song I've liked for a long time now. I've been listening to it a bit in anticipation of the SC Ice Storm of 2016.
