I want to better understand this topic because one can find evidence throughout scripture for all kinds of scenarios when it comes to the rapture post trib mid trib pre wrath pre trib ect. but I want to know the truth of the matter however I do not wish to have my own understanding with it so I am letting go of what I believe it will be and wanting to learn from others

What stance do you hold on this topic? and what scriptures can you provide to support it? I am honestly wanting to learn from this not cause a debate

I could write a book on this, but I won't go there. In short, I'm Postrib. Pretrib and Midtrib have not existed for most of Church history. Pre-wrath is very similar to Postrib, and there are historical examples of it.

So #1 reason I hold to Postrib is its the historical view. #2 reason is 2 Thes 2 teaches it explicitly. #3 reason is based on the idea that the original Postrib vision was given in Dan 7, and all of NT eschatology is largely based on that one vision. In other words, they are all connected to a scenario that is very much Postrib.

So how is Dan 7 Postrib? It describes the coming of the Son of Man from the clouds of heaven to establish God's Kingdom on earth, while at the same time judging and removing the Antichrist. This is a Postrib setting, and most NT references to Christ's 2nd Coming contain some elements of this original vision.

Good luck devising your own position! :)
