[__ Prayer __] Tired of being Tormented i could use some prayer

Hi everyone, I would like to ask for some very well needed prayer, let me tell you why:
About a little over year ago I was living in the streets hooked on crystal meth really bad. I left my daughter and family behind for the streets and the drugs which was more important to me at that time. I always have believed in Christ and faith even when I was on the streets doing drugs I believed in my Jesus and thanks to him he helped me get out of that life. I have gotten married had a baby and restored my relationship with my daughter. I have changed my life around drastically. now i bet you are wondering why i would need prayer, well... a lot of things have been happening to me since i left my life of sin. For example, we mysteriously got bedbugs in our bed where me, my husband and baby sleep. for some reason I was the only person getting attacked and bitten. they left my child and husband alone. After resolving that situation i broke out in these terrible stinging, ictching hives all over my body for no reason at all, im not even allergic to anything. i had those hives all over my body for about a week and suffered with them very badly. The doctors gave me some medicine that made them finally go away. Then I got a respitory infection and am still getting over that. there has been many other things that keep happening to me, one right after the other.
my mother told me that she thinks since the devil could not bring me down with the drugs he is trying to bring me down by tormenting me. I just ask for some prayer to keep evil away from me.
also I have been having some trouble with my faith and need to strengthen my faith. please pray that i am able to do so. I feel like i forget about God sometimes and ignore him. I need the Lord in my life more. please pray for me.

Well Micaela, that is the most important thing for sure. But you can't strengthen your own faith, you have to pray that God will increase your faith and help you to draw near to Him again. I encourage you to stop what you are doing at least once during the afternoon and pray, each day, and see if you don't begin to feel closer to the Lord. Sometimes it is as simple as that, because we (me too :yes ) get caught up in our daily activities and the thought of talking to God just slips the mind. If you take the time to make your Lord part of your day you will begin to grow. And about your feeling as though you are being oppressed by evil, that is quite possible. Whenever you feel that way, again, PRAY! The enemy absolutely HATES the name of Jesus, so whenever you pray outloud against them in the name of Jesus and claim His authority over them, they will flee so quickly you may think they weren't even there. I know this because I had a strong battle with the presence of evil (demonic presence) about 15 years ago. My mother told me to do what I just told you, and let me tell you it worked! :amen

I applaud you for choosing to leave the street life behind and getting your life back on track. :clap It's not easy but it seems like you have done it with the Lord's help. Praise God!! That does make the enemy angry, and he will try to make things difficult for you because he doesn't want you to be of any use to God. But don't let him win...pray often and read your Bible some each day, and watch as the Holy Spirit becomes more and more evident in your life :)

Micaela,

I am praying for you this morning. Remember that we are in battle here, and that we already have the victory in Christ. The Bible says that we should not grow weary in well doing. Press on. The Lord bless you.

Dear Father,

We thank you for your wisdom and for your mercy and we acknowledge You are the God of all creation and that You are in control of all things. You tell us this:

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

We ask that if it be Your will, that you watch over micaela, guide her though every step as she deals with the spiritual attacks against her Faith. The Adversary will go to great lengths to steal one away from You, but we know that all You choose, You will lose none of them. She knows she cannot do that without You and she's asking for Your help. We thank you for forgiving her of past transgressions and thank You for delivering her from the clutches of addiction.

We pray for this in the blessed name of Your Son and our Savior and Master, Jesus!

Amen.

Psalm 103 He will heal you of all your diseases. He has healed you from your drug addiction and He can heal and rescue you from these torments and afflictions as well. Read Psalm 103 every day and pray this scripture in your prayers. I praise God with you that you have been taken out of the mire of addiction and have been restored with God, your daughter, and others. This is a great praise and testimony of what God can do if we just trust in Him. He can do other great things for you too. I will pray.

Praise God for coming as far as you have! We sing a song in church called "I'm Still Standing". In spite of what you've been through, you're still standing!

Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. (Rom. 10:17) The more you read, hear and meditate in the Word, the more your faith will be built up. The more you stay in the Word, the more your faith will build. The more you get the Word coming out of your mouth, the more your faith will build, and the more you sing praises for your victory, that will really build your faith big time. Praise is like a fast track into the presence of God.

Psalm 91 is a great victory psalm. Use it. Recite it daily until it gets down into your spirit and you KNOW that He will deliver you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper! (Is. 54:17)
