Transgenderism: Its Consequences

Politico

Member
Gender Fluidity, the real definition: I believe it; therefore, it must be so. Everyone else had better conform.

If transgenderism is allowed to take root, politically and socially, then it will lead to allowing biological males using the girl's locker rooms in schools. If that occurs, then the logical progression indicates it will be extended to showers, in schools and elsewhere, such as shower rooms in privately-owned gyms. I heard on the news a while back that a certain school in California has sanctioned transgenders using the locker room of their choice.

The Obama administration issued a directive to schools requiring an allowance of transgenders to use not only bathroom facilities, but also locker room facilities of their choice. Of course this means allowing biological, naked males sharing the girl's locker rooms with people's daughters and vice-versa. Can we say that only a fool could sanction such a thing? I think so.

A multiple-State lawsuit, headed by the state of Texas, has challenged Obama's directive. I am not sure how that has gone so far.

Transgenderism is a part of an overall worldview that gives minimal regard to the significance of a person's DNA and gives preference to the comfort and “rights” of the queer community over those of the rest of the population in America. Transgenders compose only a small, small fraction of the population of America. So why is their so-called "rights" being given preference over the rights of non-transgenders by so many liberals and moderates?

Do I not have the right to use the men's restroom without a woman-pretending-to-be-a man standing right next to me? What about a woman needing to change her clothes when she notices a man-pretending-to-be-a-woman standing next to her? Many men's restrooms have the urinals situated right beside or across a mirror. So, as a man, I am standing there trying to use the urinals when a woman-pretending-to-be-a-man walks in and is using the mirror. She is standing right behind me. So what about my right to feel comfortable when trying to relieve myself? What about my right to use the facilities without someone of the opposite sex standing right beside me or behind me?

This is not just about trannys using the restroom of their choice, this also about the queer community demanding that federal and state governments put their official seal of moral approval on the lifestyle and philosophy known as transgenderism by passing laws that give preference to the comfort level and “rights” of trannys over those rights and comfort of the vast majority of people living in the US.

What about the real woman who spills something on her blouse and needs to use the bathroom to clean off her blouse, which may entail the need for her to take it off to clean it? Now how can she do that with a man-pretending-to-be-a-woman standing right next to her using the mirror? What about the real woman's right to privacy and the right to relieve herself (with all of its attending bodily noises) without being humiliated knowing that a man is in the next stall listening to every noise the real women makes? The issues related to transgenderism concerns not only whether or not healthy individuals should foster delusion, but also concerns the morally-bankrupt decision to prefer the “rights” and comfort level of the queer community over the rest of America’s population. Conservatives must do what they can to stop this assault on individual privacy rights.

There are so many terrible ramifications in condoning transgenderism. It leads to such confusion and contradiction. For example, in a scenario where there are only so many lifeboats on a sinking ship for the women and children (the men staying behind), if there is a man pretending to be a woman on this ship that's going down, is he to be treated like the women and allowed on the lifeboats along with other women? What if there is only enough room on the last lifeboat for one more woman, yet there remains on the ship one biological woman and one man pretending to be a woman? Who gets the seat? If it is given to the "transgender," and this transgender later switches back to preferring his biological gender, then will anyone be upset that a man was given the last seat and a real woman was forced to go down with the ship? This is just one of many thought exercises that demonstrate the contradictory and abominable ramifications of legitimizing transgenderism.

Transgenderism and its accommodation must be fought at every level, primarily through Prayer.

Most folks who need a wheel chair is not from a choice.
trans is choice. others should not have to pay for another choice

it is as much a choice as bleaching ones hair... I dont like my height should the rest of the world accommodate my want of change?

I dont feel like i should be stuck with face that is not like the super models
I want to play baseball in the major leagues so change the rules for me
i feel like i want to type in French so every one has to translate..

we have moral laws. why they are not supported is beyond me. if your born a man use the men restroom. if your born a woman us the ladies restroom.... if you think your a woman but have men facilities or vice versa a woman who thinks they are a man and you need a bathroom and can,t use the proper one for your born gender. you either are A. up the creek w/o a paddle or B maybe they will build you a 3rd bathroom called the trans bathroom charge $5.00 for the building of it and maintenance problem solved. i wonder if these guys who think they are woman ...need feminine products also ?

A tough looking group of bikers were riding when they saw a woman about to
jump off a bridge, so they stopped.

The leader, a big burly man, gets off his bike and says, "What are you
doing?"

"I'm going to commit suicide," she says.

While he didn't want to appear insensitive, he didn't want to miss an
opportunity either, so he asked... "Well, before you jump, why don't you
give me a kiss?"

So she does... And it was a long, deep, lingering kiss.

After she's finished, the biker says, "Wow! That was the best kiss I've ever
had! That's a real talent you are wasting. You could
be famous. Why in the world would you want to commit suicide?"

"My parents don't like me dressing up like a girl........".

The authorities think she may have been pushed.
:oops

This is a very sensitive subject for me currently because I am going through this with my daughter. She is 13 right now and thinks she is supposed to be male. I told her I will not be getting hormones for her or doing anything permanent to change her. That will be her choice down the road when she is an adult. I do buy her guy clothes and have tried to come to an agreement with hair. I think I would be selfish to want her to be something she is not (if this is the case). I have told her her my opinion that she should wait for God to give her the spirit body she desires in heaven, but I don't know how she feels exactly. There is one scripture that Jesus spoke and I think it leaves the grace of God to have us definitely not judge a person's body.

Matthew 19:11-12 Jesus replied, "Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage because of the kingdom of heaven.

I don't know how this will turn out for us, but if she decides to take it all the way, then this must be what she was meant to do. I don't think if you are willing to do hormones and surgery, you are joking about what you think you are.

Things our kids can do are often so very hurtful.
I always wanted to be a boy... but growing up in the 50s was a lot different then today... I have wondered if i had the pressures of todays world what i would have thought done etc...
for those curious i have no problem being a woman wife and mother..
I commend you for holding your ground..."I told her I will not be getting hormones for her or doing anything permanent to change her."

Granted she is only 13 but she is the one wanting to be something she is not.

Dove, you and family will be in my prayers....

He is full of mercy and grace..

Thank you for sharing what you felt growing up. I do think we need more testimonies of people who've experienced these feelings. And thanks for your prayers.

It is definitely testing my faith and love, not my hope though. My hope is always in the Lord. My faith in truly loving someone is where this is going. Thanks for your support, it is very difficult.
