Tried to set up a vote thingy but couldn't figure it out.

So here is the question I wanted to ask and allow the jury to vote.

Unless we can accept who we are and where we are at then we can't move forward with God.

False. Sometimes God finds us in our darkest places. Sometimes He takes us out of them or puts us in them. Our relationship with God is a seperate thing then our acceptance or view of ourselves. Sometimes they over lap. Sometimes we find a better place to accept ourselves after we find God, and possibly sometimes we find God after letting go of things and accepting who we are at that moment.

But to move forward with God requires us to be focused on Him, to Obey Him, or regardless what we do, relies on what God does with us to move us by His power and His Authority. Ask Saul on the road. God blinded, him renamed him, healed his sight and send him as Paul on a journey of spreading the good news to Gentiles and building the church community in different cities he had taught.
