Vicky is wornout from having to run to the hospital everyday so she said for me to tell the tale. I have stage three cancer on my pancreas but not encapsulated which is good.i was laying in the hospital and they did three procedures in four days.the spot on the lung appears not to be cancer. I was going to miss our family Christmas and the Lord moved everything in alignment and got me home for it. A great and blessed gift. I went home and was feeling very sore and tired when this old woman leaned over me and said I had to come to the front door. I did not want to get up but she insisted and on the front porch were carolers from a Filipino church who had already come this year. As much as I love hearing and supporting them I was pooped. Vicky slipped big blanket around me and I looked like a shepherd and there was a chair waiting for to sit. They began singing and this marine lost it and cried like a baby. Then I noticed in the shadows of my lawn were made up of my entire family who arranged this for me they knowi love Christmas and especially the song Silent Night. I took care of the drought conditions that night. What a God He shares and continues to share with us such beauty that we never know how, when or where. Even weeds have flowers and so He brings them in the weeds of life. I went to the oncologist and he set me up to met with the surgeon tomorrow this is moving like a certain SomeOne has His hands all over it.
my granddaughter said before these things had happened how sorry she was for my cancer and how sad it happen now. I told her this is the best Christmas I ever had. She was surprised and asked how that could be. I said the world throws all it can at us and whether I live or die I have already won because on a hill thousands of miles away the Lord Jesus has turned death into the door His people go through for life ever after. If I go on before you He will leave light on for all to follow, not Tom at Motel 6 but the Lord Jesus where He has your nest prepared after having covered us with His wings for the trip. Lord thank you and thank you for your sheep and Lamb’s!
