What do you think about movies on TV or TV programs those of classic times TV and movies compared to more modern day TV movies and programs? What do you think the differences are of back then that it is of today? Has it gotten better to worse or worse to better? Or not much any change at all?



Would you like to mention movies or TV programs New or Classic movies? How you like or feel about them or what your favorite movies are? If you don’t watch much new TV that’s ok talk about stuff you used to watch at least. I’m also including of course the Movie theater cinemas. I’m interested and like to hear about these things. It brings back good memories to me. What do you think?
 
These days.....too much cussing, too much sex, cheating seems ok. I don't like to watch movies higher than pg-13. But then I don't always watch pg-13 because of movies like the exorcist. EW
 
I tend to watch whatever I enjoy watching...it could be a classic movie, or it could be a newer one.
I tend to be a bit more lenient about what I watch than I was raised to be...but if it's promoting immorality, then no, I don't support it. But IMO there's a difference between that and characters doing things I don't necessarily agree with...a good question would be, in the end, is it made out to be a good thing? What's the overall message?
I do think movies and entertainment media do reflect the morals and values of the current generation. And you should watch out for and identify those things that may conflict with your morals.

I actually don't watch much if any TV these days. I watch most of my stuff online and right now it's mostly anime dubs. Which, from what I've seen, is typically rated TV-14, or maybe a little higher.


My favorite movies...well, that'd take a while to go through...I'm only going to list a few.
One classic movie I like is Ben Hur. I've read the book, too.
My Fair Lady
Fiddler on the Roof
I've read the book Les Miserables, and would like to see one of the movies there are based on the book. (I'm interested in the one that came out recently, last year I think, but seeing one of the older movies would be interesting as well.)

I also greatly enjoy modern animated movies such as Tangled and How to Train Your Dragon.
I like some Christian movies such as Fireproof and October Baby.
A show currently on TV that I like a lot is Phineas and Ferb.
 
Cool! I have Netflix, so I mainly watch shows on that. :) I don't have cable, I have a TV antenna that I bought from target, and I get free HD channels!
 
back in about 1961 Mom said somethings like.... Reba dont go and watch a movie you wouldn't take Jesus with ya to see. Needless to say i dont watch many movies :)
