The problem with quoting the world's most beloved US Marine, Chesty Puller, is that many of his quotes were given in combat, and there is disagreement over his exact words.

The most highly-decorated Marine in history, Puller never did win the Congressional Medal of Honor, but he is the only Marine to win the Navy Cross five times. He was beloved by the enlisted men, whom he always tried to help. He fought the US policy of giving the Marines left-over and obsolete Army equipment, and even as a high-ranking officer, he was often in front-line combat.

I dont find these jokes very christain like at all. I reckon I have a good sense of humour but these jokes have to do with killing and in some case's legal murder.

But who am I to Judge in the end God is the Judge

They don't seem in good taste , talking about shooting and killing like its a joke. This forum goes world wide how would you feel if your family member or friend had been killed by a Marine corp. I would understand if this forum was only for Americans but its not, is it? Maybe its just me, just doesn't seem very appropriate for a christian forum.

i have been to war. Vince is right. i served(worked closely) with the marines and what Vince says is the truth.They are rather odd bunch and that is how they worked. i'm laughing as yup that sounds like what a marine would do.
 
Jasoncran, no he isn't. The joke had started that he and Rock Hudson were getting married, so that the gay could change his name to "Rock Pyle." But Jim Nabors has told interviewers that he is not, and never has been, gay.

either way he does have a singing talent.
