Lord, I lift Your son (Jason's dad) to You. He has my sympathy with him; although I have not had strong episodes of vertigo do know what it feels like. Asking that you would heal him and be there with Your presence to Comfort him too. :praying

I'm so sorry your dad isn't well Jason. I had to Google vertigo and I'm glad I did. I thought it had something to do with the fear of heights.

I have prayed for him and will continue to keep him in my prayers.

he was admited to healthsouth two days for physical therapy and to treat the vertigo and the other issues he has i will see him tommorow, pray for my parents finances, i praise the lord that he has insurance through my mother. My parents a while back couldnt afford niether medicare or my mother couldnt afford to pay to add him to her insurance. The Lord change all that as she pays the same amount before when my dad wasnt on her insurance.

Jason,

My dad passed away when I was a young man.
It was a significant event.

Here is my prayer: "Lord, that Jason and his Father are given a period of time to draw close together and that any hurts that may exist between them may be healed. I ask that You are there with them and by Your Spirit this young mans' heart be turned to his father, also that by Your same Spirit the heart of this father be turned to his son.

Lord give your heart for Jason to his father and let his son see him as a man. Let those things that need to be resolved be concluded according to Your will and by Your Spirit which is holy, holy and holy. Also, Lord the finances that Jason mentions, we ask for You to provide and to be our Provider in all things. Jesus take care of that family in their time of trouble and I am especially asking that the Holy Spirit (our Comforter) is there in a very special way for each member.

Let others look and ponder the peace that you provide, remarking, "I've not seen anything like it."
I'm asking for You, Father to be there for my friend's father and for Your presence to be undeniable in this the time allowed prior to You calling him back to you. Asking that the promise that is given that angels will administrate an entrance be seen and that you comfort your son Jason through his dad in the days ahead."

funny that you mention that, my dad and i have never had a real close relationship, but we do talk, and have grown closer, but my dad isnt one to share his feelings and truthfully i have that problem as well. I know he loves me, and i love him. I'm not sure on his salvation, pray for that.

Sparrow's prayer for you and your dad hit home with me Jason. My dad died of lung cancer over twenty years ago. We were never close. I don't remember one hug, not one "I love you." It was just how it was. There was no meanness but there was no display of love. Until I was older I didn't realize what I missed.

I married, moved away and sent cards on Father's day. I always thought it was my fault, that somehow I should have tried harder to communicate with him. When he was diagnosed with cancer I had moved back to the same town so I visited him in the hospital while he underwent treatments. It was very uncomfortable, for both of us...so little to talk about, but we both tried.

Although he never said he loved me, I realized later...I never told him that I loved him. You see, I too am to blame. But, the one shining gift I was given was truly given by our Father. As I sat beside his bed a nurse came in asking if he wanted the newspaper. He reached over for his billfold and as it lay there open I saw a photograph of my brother and me when we were much younger. I can't tell you what that meant to me. It was my hug, it was him showing, "I love you."

Everything came together at just the right moment. The finger of God.....and I am so grateful.

By Your Spirit, Lord --claiming the impossible.
We do know Your will for us and will not fail to ask because it "can't" be done!
I so much want what is good for my friend here on the Forum -he has consistently been a source of Joy not only to me but also for many.

Turn the hearts of the sons (children) to the fathers, the hearts of the fathers truly turned to the sons (children). Let it be real and unquestionably of You. Show Yourself more to us that we may know You. In the Name I am asking. In Jesus we appear before You, seeking, Father.
