Bible Study Vicarious Law-Keeping?

show me where in the torah or the tanach we were told to hate thine enemy? remember the enemies of isreal were physical but also representive of the devil and enemy of christ.

I'm guessing this is what is being referred to:

"2 Jehu the seer, the son of Hanani, went out to meet him and said to the king, “Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Because of this, the wrath of the Lord is upon you." (2 Chronicles 19:2 NIV1984)

I can just imagine how the Jews spun this to rationalize outright hatred of their enemies.

well yes and no. i can see it but we often goof that one up. we love them that arent in christ to the point that they can change us and or either also hate them so much that we cant win them for christ. when in reality its both. we should hat the sin but not the sinner. we should eschew them when they refuse to heed the lord after they were saved but not before. we shouldnt be so linked to them that we are yoked with them. its hard line to walk and i have failed on that way too many times.

Question??
What is meant by this statement please.

"There is not in all Scripture a hint of the doctrine that Christ's earthly life--His obedience as a man under the [Mosaic] Law, is "put to the account" of any sinner whatsoever!"

Thanks Deb for your replies and this is exactly the shadow of the true: "So the lamb was found acceptable, the sin was transfered, so therefore to fulfill the penalty prescribed by the law, the lamb had to die."

There is a misconception by some that the perfect obedient life of Christ to the Law was imputed to Israel so that it was as if they too were perfectly obedient to the Law and thus procuring redemption for His people.

It's normal for this false concept to be predominant because most do not understand the dispensational element of Scriptural chronology, but more are understanding it all the time that redemption came from His sacrifice for the curse, not from His obedience to the Law, which was to qualify Him for sacrifice.
