By “habitual sinner” I mean a person who repeatedly sins without repentance.
This means everyone (BACs included) … because everyone can choose to sin.
Repentance means to hate your sin, run from it, and don’t do it anymore.
If one does slip up and sins again, he/she can repent again as in 1 John 1:7-9.
This is repeated until he/she has overcome the sin, i.e. gained victory over it.

All habitual sinners will not inherit the Kingdom of God …
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,
nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards,
nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the Kingdom of God.”
(1 Corinthians 6:9-10, NKJV)

Please note: the BAC has become unrighteous,
if he/she chooses to live in a lifestyle of habitual sinning.

All habitual sinners will not inherit the Kingdom of God …
“When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear:
sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling,
jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness,
wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone
living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5:19-21, NLT)
“those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”
(Galatians 5:21, NKJV)

All habitual sinners will not inherit the Kingdom of Christ
but instead they will experience the anger/wrath of God …

“Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people. Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes — these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God. You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Don’t be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for the anger of God will fall on all who disobey him.” (Ephesians 5:3-6, NLT)
“Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things
the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.” (Ephesians 5:6, NKJV)

All habitual sinners will experience the anger/wrath of God …
“So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing
to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy,
for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.
Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming.” (Colossians 3:5-6, NLT)
“Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience” (Colossians 3:6, NKJV)

All habitual sinners will go into the lake of fire …
“He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.
BUT the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:7-8, NKJV)

May I warn you with all sincerity that “the cowardly” includes those BACs in the world
(even now) who fall away from the faith during persecution of Christians.
And “the cowardly” will include those BACs who submit to taking the mark of the beast,
which is submitting to the ownership of the antichrist, i.e. Satan.

All habitual sinners will not have the right to the tree of life,
and will not be allowed into the city of the New Jerusalem …

“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right
to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside
are the dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters,
and whoever loves and practices a lie.” (Revelation 22:14-15, NKJV)

TO BE DEEP IN SCRIPTURE IS TO CEASE BEING CATHOLIC, PROTESTANT, JEW OR CALVINIST

TO BE DEEP IN SCRIPTURE IS TO CEASE BEING
CATHOLIC, PROTESTANT, JEW OR CALVINIST
Does being ARMINIAN just refer to one's ability
to CHOOSE to believe in Jesus and His Gospel?
Or, does it also refer to freedom of CHOICE
to continue after he/she becomes a BAC?

IMO, one is NOT free to choose to believe
because he has the fallen nature, and
because he is totally a slave to Satan.
But ...
IMO, the BAC is free to fall away from the faith,
fall from grace, draw back to perdition, etc.

To tell you the truth Senior I don't know what an Armimiam is. I try to go by scripture and such is not found by name. That being said the scripture definitely teaches that the Christian may and can fall away and be eternally lost.

BTY, that was my signature. I could add Mormon and the JW's etc., etc., but that gets out of space!

RESPONSE: Hello Senior.
There are two perspectives that are found in Scripture which should be respected in order to rightly divide the Word of Truth. They are the Eternal perspective of God, and the temporal perspective of man (in TIME.)
Scripture presents the Eternal perspective of God toward man: I am saved, I am sinless, I am holy, I am sinless.
Scripture presents the temporal perspective of man: I am a sinner in need of a Savior.
Now, you chose 1 John 1:7-9 as your support Scripture to what you said above, but you omit verse 5 which contradict what you say these verses mean:

1 John 1:5 (KJV)
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Consider: John says that he had heard from God and this is what God said: "God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all."
Now, think about it. BEFORE God created anything He contemplated creating man. At any time during this contemplation did God contemplate man as sinful, unholy, and unrighteous, or in darkness?

Please note: the BAC has become unrighteous,

RESPONSE: First, the "kingdom of God" is not a place or location.
Second, this is what Paul said:

Romans 7:24 (KJV)
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Death is the penalty of sin, right?
We ALL sometime in our lives come to the day of our death. If we die - and we do - then we are suffering the penalty for sin and that is death. Everyone dies, Christian and non-Christian. So, we are ALL unrighteous, sinful, and unholy as our death proves this.

RESPONSE: Again, as above, we are all habitual sinners while we are still in this body of this death. Death is the penalty for sin. Christian and non-Christian ALL pay the penalty for our sin and that is DEATH.
And again, as above, the "kingdom of God" is not a place or location.

I have a question. Is not all sin committed out of habit since it is in our sinful nature? Even those who have accepted Jesus as Lord will still commit sin. Jesus Himself said no one is good accept God alone and throughout Scripture we are reminded that none are righteous and if we say we are without sin we are a liar, which is another sin, and all fall short of the glory of God.

You keep using the word "habitual" and I think it is misplaced. A habit is something that is usually done unconsciously. In other words, we do it without realizing it until it is too late.

If what you're saying is correct, then there is no hope for anyone, even those who are in Christ for they continue to habitually sin.

With habitual sin we have an advocate with the Father, that is, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Isaiah Chapter 64 God is the potter that molds us and makes us righteous in His sight for our righteousness is as a filthy rag to God for there is nothing within this flesh that can be made righteous.

Ephesians 2:8 we are all sinners in need of a Savior and by God's grace are you saved by faith that is Christ Jesus. There is nothing we can do of ourselves to be saved no matter how hard we try to be righteous the flesh will always sin especially if you stray from walking in the Spirit. Again, our righteousness is as a filthy rag to God so it is by God's grace alone through Christ Jesus that we are saved and forgiven of our sin when we repent of it. Grace does not give us a license to sin, but gives us instruction to refrain from it. Do we crucify Christ daily for our sin, no, we are to crucify this flesh daily as God is the potter and we the clay as He molds us and makes us what He needs us to be, Galatians 5:24, 25; Colossians 3:1-4.

Proverbs 4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. 15 Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. 16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. 17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. 18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. 19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. 24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. 25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. 26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. 27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

Sin will ever be present to the flesh as that is sin's nature dwelling in the flesh. Can we sin while walking in the Spirit, no. It's only when we allow the flesh to display emotions that causes us to sin.

IMO, since everyone CHOOSES to commit a particular sin (or sins),
this is not done HABITUALLY.
Truly, I am not involved in any habitual sin, as far as I know.
But yes, generally speaking, because of man's inherited sin nature,
the human habit is to sin.

J15,
God doesn't (need to) contemplate about man
since He has seen everything in man's history
from the beginning to the end.
The death spoken of in the NT is spiritual death.

Just trying to understand you completely. You are saying that there are no sins committed out of habit and that all sins are willfully done, right? Are you saying then that, supposing a person truly endeavors to live a perfect life and choose to not sin, it is possible to live life without sinning? Taking that question a bit further, do you believe you or anyone are capable of living a perfect life?

I'm not buying what this poster has proposed. Where it seems to have wisdom it seems to fall a bit short. By definition a Christian is unmeasurable.
Only God can judge a person's heart. Where a person's actions may reflect their heart they also may not.... which is why I leave the judgement up to He to whom it belongs.

There are sins of ommission and sins of commission, whatever all that means! lol
IMO, it's probably not possible to live without sinning.
That's why those with the correct heart attitude will be sorrowfully repenting!
Thus, IMO, being "perfect" (mature) is sorrowfully repenting!

A sin of omission is described in Scripture. James 4:17 is one example.
A sin of commission is also described in Scripture. 1 John 3:4 is one example.

The Christian definition of repentance is more than just to feel sorry for what one has done but also to turn away from the sin. Since repenting is to be turning away from, it seems that one would need to know what it is he/she is repenting from.

I think this could be one of those things that plagued Martin Luther. He found himself constantly in a state of depression as he continuously worked to gain God's acceptance despite his own known sinful nature and he realized that what he was trying to achieve was an impossibility. The good news of the gospel is that through faith in the Christ, Jesus, we have hope because He became the propitiation for our sins, even those we don't recognize. Those that we are aware of we need to deal with and repent but there are sins for which we don't even realize we've committed and John says, in 1 John 1-2, that if we do sin we have an advocate with the Father, that is Jesus Christ.

IMO, one can repent of a sin without being overcome with sorrow over it.

How can one repent if they have no remorse for what they did, would that not be just empty words spoken?

The definition of repent includes sorrow and remorse. I see for_his_glory has already asked what came to my mind.
