Hi there!

I'm a Catholic who's very interested to learn about other denominations. From what I was told this forum is a good place to start. I certainly hope I will learn from the people here.

I also have an interest in spiritual warfare. There is certainly a lack of understanding about it among many Catholics in my country and much of what I know I learned from Protestant authors. Would there be anyione here who is experienced in such matters?

Did you intentionally not include where you're from or just forget to say? I live in the U.S. but I've been on a few mission trips to Brazil. In the U.S. spiritual warfare seems to take the form of the allure of wealth and a secular world view. In Brazil, it was much more blatant evil all around. Beautiful people that I love to this day immersed in spiritism.

Are you referring to that kind of warfare or the invisible spiritual battle between angels and demons going on around us without our knowing all the time as described in scripture?

hi, and welcome to CFnet. I'm glad that there's another Catholic amongst us. Always a good thing.

I have a cousin who is now doing ministry work, full time. He recommended books on spiritual warfare by Chip Ingram, who is an American Protestant. I'll admit; I wasn't looking forward to actually reading the books, but...I was (very) pleasantly surprised. Well-written, supported by Scripture and experience, and the books I've skimmed over have been very good for my own walk with The Lord.
