The present riddle is:

As I went across the bridge, I met a man with a load of wood which was neither straight nor crooked. What kind of wood was it?...

I think this is an easy riddle. A little dumb but hey it a riddle thread. No biggie. The million dollar question is...can it be answered, dumb or not? hehe.

For the deep thinkers, you all could try to answer who was Noah's Wife? That's not a real riddle though.

Oh haha I didn't see that it was already answered, oh well!

I can be quick and then I'm deadly,
I am a rock, shell and bone medley.
If I was made into a man, I'd make people dream,
I gather in my millions by ocean, sea and stream.

It's sand.
- quicksand is deadly (a least in Hollywood, in reality humans would only sink like as deep as to their hips)
- sand is composed of fine rock and mineral paricles and organic material granulate
- a sandman is a mythical/fictional character that brings sleep and dreams. Thus "sandman" has been used as a synonym for killer or drug dealer in popular culture. A way more harmless and cute sandman TV show was broadcast every evening in the old socialist Eastern Germany where I grew up. It was about a sandman visiting children, telling them good night stories and then at the blowing sand at them, making them (and hopefully the real life kids watching it on TV) sleepy and ready to go to bed.
- sand is found around bodies of water (because the water moverment can wash a rock or a shell into sand over a long time. So can wind or other sand particles, thus the sand in deserts.)

Three people once lived in a room. One was only blind, the other deaf and mute and the third was just lame. They were not born this way. It was at the age of 13 that they all suffered a sudden deformation. The gods suddenly cursed them and locked them all up inside their compound.

The lame man died while he was playing a game with the mute and deaf brother outside. He buried him immediately.

Now tell me, how would he inform his blind brother about the lame brother's death.

Note: their movement were limited just within the compoud - they can't go outside, and no one can visit them.
