Well today it is smoked neck bones mixed with cabbage for flavor and baked chicken and baked turkey chops and sweet potatoes. Why the 2 poultry's I am cooking for 2 to 3 days.

Today is left over sweet potatoes and cabbage and freshly cooked orange chicken, as a matter of fact I am still stewing the orange chicken now

Chili for me tonight. :) Nice and easy.

I love meatloaf too.Comfort food.I don't have a recipe I just put some of this and some of that in it.
I made some baking powder biscuits to go with it.The recipe is from 1933.

What is everyone having for Thanksgiving?Cooking yourself or is someone else cooking?

I already bought my turkey, so I have to get the rest of the stuff, I have to get a ham.

Dinner earlier this evening was homemade chicken & dumplings.... delicious!

My youngest is preparing the turkey & ham this year for Thanksgiving... I'm doing the pies, pumpkin bread, special potatoes. The rest of the meal's goodies will be contributions from the rest of the family gathering this year.

We're going to have turkey here. Sometimes we make a big ham but we're gonna go with turkey this year. Turkey's are easy to cook too, it's just a big chicken, lol. Prolly mashed potatoes, asparagus with bread crumbs, salad, pumpkin pie, potato salad, sweet potatoes, and cranberry sauce. Haven't got anything yet, I better get on it.

I am going to go really light. It is just my son and myself.I don't eat a lot and the last time I made us Thanksgiving dinner I cooked way too much.I will do a Chicken breast bone-in,stuffing,Mashed potatoes and gravy and pumpkin pie and whipped cream for dessert.

I can see that, being single. When I was single, one year I made me one of those teeny chickens, a cornish game hen? or something like that, stuffed it with some boxed stuffing and things. :) It was good!

Oh yeah we're gonna have a salad too. Can't forget the salad.

It would be nice if I could get some deer meat too for Thanksgiving.

I don't get Thanksgiving off from work, but I'll be celebrating it the following Sunday instead. I'll probably have rack of lamb
