What Are You Cooking ?

I would never eat a horse shoe crab or a seahorse or a lionfish
lionfish are a big problem here. they will decimate the lobster and other fishes we eat. I may try them. and also horse shoe crab. its a cousin of the crab. its a type of arachnid and those are cousins to the crabs and lobsters.

I have seen horse shoe crabs up close and personal, and I would not eat them.
like I haven't. I saw one about six months ago. usually when I see them are dead. some raise them to eat them. you can have them in an aquarium. we also have nautilus . those are edible. what is the difference tween them and also conch?its the eyes that get to you. the horse shoe crab depending the species doesn't have lungs or has what is called book lungs.

but how can people eat Lionfish and Seahorses ? That is just crazy to me.
its been encouraged to eat lionfish as those aren't native to the state of florida and its been known to be edible for years. so the state pays for one to catch and eat or just kill it.

Hey Tog do you eat Horse Shoe Crabs ?

Nope. Here's a list of what I eat:
  • Whatever parts the hoof and is cloven-footed and chews the cud.
  • Everything in the waters that has fins and scales
  • All birds except: the eagle, the bearded vulture, the black vulture, the kite, the falcon of any kind, every raven of any kind, the ostrich, the nighthawk, the sea gull, the hawk of any kind, the little owl, the cormorant, the short-eared owl, the barn owl, the tawny owl, the carrion vulture, 19 the stork, the heron of any kind, the hoopoe, and the bat.
  • Insects that have jointed legs above their feet, with which to hop on the ground
(See Lev. 11 and Deut. 14)

Don't forget, arachnids also include spiders, scorpions, mites and ticks.

Very very good list.

Breakfast sandwiches tonight, mmm. Biscuits, bacon, and eggs omelettfied (with onions, garlic, cheese & spices). Better than anything that mickey D's ever made, lol. Made a bunch and freeze a few for a quick breakfast in the morning.

Catfish aren't so bad. The seawolf is much uglier, but very good fried.
