What Are You Cooking ?

Way back in the early 80s, sushi bars were starting to pop up in Chicagoland. (Now mind you, they may have already existed... I just wasn't aware of them yet) Anyway, I tried sushi - beyond tuna - and did not enjoy it at all. Tried it on several occasions, just to give it all a fair try. Nope, sushi is not on my list of the Top 1000 Fine Foods to Eat.

My daughter loves Sushi but she said you have to be careful with it.I think it is gross.

Like I said before, I didn't get last Thursday off, so I'm celebrating Thanksgiving today. I'll be having rack of lamb.

For the life of me I don't see how people can eat fish eggs.

I would try it just to see what they taste like...maybe. If I could get myself to even put it in my mouth.

I do want to try sushi, but I don't know if I'd like it or not.

With Sushi you can eat some kind of worm or some kind of organism that can cause havoc in your body. I don't think God wants us eating raw fish or meat we are to cook those things.

True enough, but it would seem that for every case of someone getting sick from sushi there are hundreds to thousands that didn't. (No official numbers have been consulted. I'm going by how popular it is, and my knowledge of other similar issues such as raw eggs.)
The quality of the sushi and the care of those preparing it most likely plays a pretty big role.
