Being alone, the dark, that death is really it and nothing beyond, roller coasters.
Two phobia type things - I have to hit the walk button to go across the street 3 times exactly, no more and no less. When I am washing my hands I must use 5 pieces of paper towel.

Aah, you stayed up late one night and watched one too many Japanese monster movies... like Mothra. :shocked!handy said:I do try to always trust God in my fears, even my fears for my children. Most of the time, whenever I begin to feel afraid about something, it becomes a prayer thing for me. So I don't really have a lot of fears.
Except one.
I admit to one very unreasonable phobia that I have that I cannot shake no matter how hard I try. This might sound silly, but it isn't. I have a totally unreasonable, completely unfathomable fear of moths. I hate the things. The very sight of one is enough to make my skin crawl and my heart begin to beat faster. I've actually have pulled over to the side of the road and make someone remove a moth from the car, because I cannot bear to be that close to one. There is a reason that I became this way, I had a not so nice experience with some moths as a child.

I have a few fears...
1. Being eaten alive by a bear while camping
2. Being eaten alive by a shark while snorkeling/diving.
3. Losing a limb
I don't let none of these fears stop me from hiking, camping, snorkeling, and diving. I was always told in order to overcome your fears you have to face them, so i do. Whenever i partake in such activities those thoughts always cross my mind a time or two.

It was late and the light was on the porch. I know that the moths were attracted to the light and possibly the sweetness of the watermelon, but anyway they kind of just descended on me, getting into my hair, batting against my face and then one flew into my mouth. That did it. I've been afraid of them ever since, even though I know (head knowledge) that they are completely harmless.
