What are your favorite tv show right now?

I never thought I would become one of "them", but I don't watch much tv these days. When I do, these come to mind:

NFL football games
forensic files
news
1,000 ways to die
pawn stars
history specials (not reality tv garbage that has nothing to do with history)
Dr G medical examiner (I hate oprah for probably kicking that off the air.)
M*A*S*H
Lockup (prison shows and the only thing worthwhile on worthless msnbc besides....)
To catch a predator with Chris Hansen.
probably some other things I'm neglecting to remember.

Anything else that I am not leaving out is watched online. There are more good shows out of syndication than in.

I watch little TV, just no time for it...and most of it just sucks.

Currently I watch Sons of Anarchy, and NFL football.
I have Seinfeld, and OZ on disc..and a big fan of Star Trek Voyager, and Deadwood.

My regular shows include:

The Chicago Code
Stargate Universe (series ends in a matter of weeks)
Hawaii 5-0
NCIS
Justified
Survivors (Not normally, but I'm watching for the Christian guy)
Sanctuary
Blue Bloods

The rest of my DVR is full of Cops, Speeders, random cartoons.

Doctor Who

You are now the coolest member ever. Note my signature. :D I'm not usually a fangirl but the Doctor brings out the little bit of fangirl in me. Matt Smith is my Doctor.

Okay for me, it's:
Doctor Who
Sarah Jane Adventures (which is now going to be canceled :sad)
Monk
Psych
The Middle
Desperate Housewives
Smallville
Gilligan's Island
I Love Lucy
Phineas and Ferb (I know... I know...)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Angel
Torchwood (which was terrible until the second season)
Star Trek
Eureka
Pushing Daisies
The Planet's Funniest Animals

That's about it for me. Those are the top favorites. I watch a lot of TV as an actress. And all of those shows have SUPERB acting. It's my number one criteria for judging whether or not I like a show. Close second is, is it clean tied with is the writing good?

Archie Bunker's Place

And do you know why?

I've finished watching all of the "All in the Family" episodes on Youtube.

1. ESPN College Football Gameday (my fall Saturday mornings revolve around it)
2. The Glenn Beck Program (in SOME ways, we are kindred spirits)
3. Smallville (hate to see it end, glad that Rosenbaum was in the finale)
4. Pardon the Interruption (I love sportstalk)
5. Transformers Prime (I refuse to grow up, plus the show reaks of awesomeness!)
6. Batman: The Animated Series (perhap the best and most well written animated or comic charactor ever)
7. Lizard Lick Towing / All Worked Up (who doesn't love watching a train wreck? This show is hilarious!)
8. River Monsters (not the Crocodile Hunter, but entertaining)
9. House (I love thinkers, and Hugh Luerie is golden)

Car 54, Where Are You?

I'm watching an episode a day on Youtube. One of the great attractions of the show is "friendship."

The best show, hands down, is the new Sherlock Holmes. Only three episodes last season and I believe only three slated for this fall. They are 2 hours (1.5 if you find it on a channel such as PBS which won't show commercials) and are modernized but done, very, very well.

In the meantime, my wife and I are hooked on Poirot. Fantastic show on PBS.
