So true, my friend. The programs are abused from both ends.
 
I think its ok for the government to give people free phones. 250 minutes isn't that much, but it would cover the basic need, I think. I think if the Gov continues to help people with that its ok by me.
 
My dad got mine and pays for the plan...if it wasn't for my (thankfully, "comfortable" family), I'd need one of those free phones. Considering all the tax breaks mega corporations get, I think 250-500mins/month for people trying to scrape by isn't so terrible.
 
They are not free... they are just not paid for by the user...
 
Gubberment tracphones (jasonc, lol) are fitted with NSA tracking devices.
They will be used to control the populace in the very near future.

Yeah, and it makes it harder on those who really need it. Lots of people go on disability faking their need.
 
some day there will be more folks accepting free stuff then those who are paying for that free stuff...
 
and how much did the corporate bail outs cost us? trillions? chill out on poor people.

Tax brakes dont cost anything.. nothing is paid out there is no cost...
Washington DC tells us not spending as much as they wanted to is a spending cut .. nope it aint...
