tax breaks don't cost us anything? sure. so when the billion dollar company wants to build something they get a break, but if the small company who doesn't pay for that"favor" doenst get. so yes it cost, the buyer of that product.
baseball, fooseball and Hollywood shouldn't be taxed to death but they also should be taxed and build their own stuff, and also pay the proper reasonable fees for the usage of government assets.

add bailouts. the business will deceive as they don't have to tell the public why they need the money. they can make a back room deal and get the money. I learned this locally. we have a company called piper they planned to move to another state or country.Arizona was willing to BUILD them a facility or assist(hint tax break). yet the county, the city I work for and the state gave them breaks. guess what ? it was all a farce. after the deal was signed and they agreed to keep the jobs. they sold it to the sultan of brunei a few weeks after. so they never planned to move in the first place. while yes one argue jobs were saved but the amount of breaks FOR TAXES, UTILITIES NOT PAYED, WILL NOT BE recovered.

I've seen it posted on LG ads as "Life is Good"...yeah, stupid name but there are worse things in life to concern myself with.
Samsung Victory.
When Comcast started playing games with me (robing me) because I had just basic net and they wanted more money from me, I didn't cooperate and lost my internet (I tend to stand on principle to a fault. AT@T, the only other land line alternative turned out to be thieves so, I bought the Samsung to tether to my computer (use as a modem) with the cheapest unlimited internet plan I could find. It was my first need for a smart phone and it worked out well....$20per mo (a bait and switch deal that was very hard to get from freedompop) for unlimited internet, was just fast enough to do the job.
Since then I went to the Comcast discussion boards and in helping other with Comcasts antics while exposing them, got them to give in and get me back online at a real fair price.
Meanwhile, I dumped freedompop to their free plan that gives me 500mb per month and some minutes and texts that I don't and never did use because I have the Obama Phone. The free call quality with FP isn't great but the net is a usable standby and the price is certainly right.
I know, TMI but I felt like talking and maybe the company I mentioned will help others...just be prepared for some hassles it you don't pay them for a little something or don't want to defend yourself and hold them to their contract they will try to break. I rarely use a phone so if the FP call quality was better, I'd give the Obama phone up for FP's free service, the minutes would be plenty for me.
I love the Samsung, got it used for $12 and added a case and battery. They do so much more than calls/internet and though I won't buy anything I don't absolutely need, I'm a tech junky and was glad to have the excuse to buy a smartphone.

Zenith, first TV we ever owned when I was kid. Big ol' console.
Lots of memories created with that set..it was back in the day of B&W and the world may have had less color but was much more easy on the eye than it is today.

Uhf and vhf. 13 channels for cable the other 14 to 122 were via rabbit ears.
