I watched the movie. I will be honest I got caught up in It. the movie isn't bad per se but yes I can see that with the idea of nde which I don't base theology on. its always going to contradict itself. one person has this vision from god and another that. both say they are right. none of it really lines up.A little honest research and people will see that Colton's story is also sketchy. It evolves with time..
yes but if we are honest. those vision if of heaven don't contradict each other.Visions..... most of us here eat up the biggest "vision" in the Bible, Revelation.
And what did Joel say would happen in the times many of you all swear we are now living in, the last days? Young men would have VISIONS.
Ok. Still didn't add any relevance. An overused idiom proves what now? The ones who throw the babies out with the bathwater are those who never questioned to see if the baby was in there at all!Babies and bathwater. Be careful.
That perhaps you may spend so much time looking for Satan that you might miss something God wants to give you because your head is turned away.Ok. Still didn't add any relevance. An overused idiom proves what now?

No. Can they not be deceived by the same spirit? Or perhaps for the sake of indifference went along with it?
"Both Akiane and Colton were struck by the beauty of Jesus’ eyes. “All I remember were the eyes,” Akiane says, “ and they were like no other colors that were ever created. The closest color I can depict through paints is a sapphire hue.” Colton identified the color of Jesus’ eyes as blue-green." http://blog.godreports.com/2012/01/for-child-art-prodigy-akiane-jesus-is-for-real/
How can this be reconciled to scripture that says "his eyes were like a flame of fire", and that he would "have no beauty that men would desire him"?
Personal attacks? Is that all?
Ephesians 6:12, 1 Thes 5:21
Didn't you listen to the part about Akianes visions? Visions about lost years of Jesus. Is it now wrong to question the authenticity of someone's "spiritual" impacts just because she's a cute lil girl?
So what man? he end result is that Akiane is not out there evangelizing the Gospel of Akiane...She's painting pictures, of the Lord. All good things come from God. You better be careful brother, God loves Akiane too, and you're putting her down. The bible warns against that brother. It's not your place to judge her.

There were no cameras back then so no one has a genuine picture of Jesus.Maybe He did not want a picture taken of Him.If shes wrapped up in new age, how do we know that picture is genuinely Jesus? That if is she's messing with spiritual things.

so when we teach kids, watch movies about jesus? its a sin? somebody portrays the image of jesus in those and act as the Lord. its a sin? until this thread, I knew that jesus didn't look like any of those in the books I have read and used , and movies, it wasn't even a thought. yet some here might think that it is a sin to have some book with the bible stories of jesus in pictures for some kid that is really young. seriously?
the movie the passion of the Christ is written and told from the rcc angle of it. its also off. I have watched that movie. it made me realize that its all about that Lord dying on the cross. its evil?
But if a kids book about Jesus has some pagan overtones calling him an ascended master that learned from bhudda in his 'lost' years; then that kids book should be disregarded and cast into flames.
I know Christians that refused to watch the movie the passion of the Christ. why because they knew that it was that off and didn't want some IMAGE to ruin what saw jesus as. that is where I got that. I know them personally and I was one of them. I didn't go see the passion as I read reviews and was well meh its off. not for me, I saw it at a church years later. not so straw manThis, as usual with you, is a strawman argument. There's a difference between a depiction of Jesus to give a picture of what they may have looked like in that day and culture for educational purposes, and drawing a picture of Jesus, saying it is the real jesus, and preaching New Age BS such as this Black Hebrew Cult member. For your information, most "jesus" movies in mainsream media such as The Noah movie and theHistoryAliensdidit Channel's The Bible series are written by Gnostics and New Agers and are not the gospel. No wonder so many secular audiences have such a warped picture of the Word. Jesus said take heed no man decieves you. So who am I to heed here? Man or Jesus? Well I'm gonna take advice from Phil 4:8 and not haze my brain with alpha waves thus submitting to suggestibility. The sepent was subtle (Gen 3). So taking the name of God in vain (that is misrepresenting him) is a sin. A kids book is not a sin, because they don't have some sort of gnostic, new age, or Babylonian doctrine. But if a kids book about Jesus has some pagan overtones calling him an ascended master that learned from bhudda in his 'lost' years; then that kids book should be disregarded and cast into flames.
I didn't care for noah. I read the reviews on it and knew that it wasn't going to be even close. its Hollywood. they barely got the ten commandments right if it all and also jesus of nazereth has some errors in it.
