Exactly to me also. I can quote "Jesus wept" and comment He could not have been manly. Knowing His friend Lazarus was sick Jesus allowed him to die; where is the compassion? Many atheists use these manner of discourse concerning the things of God. Outright attacks avail little but a turnoff to any loving God, but to plant an idea using scripture that Jesus is little more than we were produces legitimacy to their seed of confusion.Even though I know all of those Scriptures' there is just something about the way he said it' that I don't like.
E.g., Heb 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Mat 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
I could go on and on with this, but to do so I would start another thread. Blessings in Christ Jesus.
