Luke 18:17
17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.../
Matthew 18:2-4
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.../
It is repeated in scripture, so that would indicate that it is important and something we should not only learn but do. So I sit here and ponder the characteristics of little children. Is it their lack of a state of mind which is dishonest? (They say that only children and fools tell the truth), or perhaps their humbleness? What exactly do these scriptures speak of?
