What if...

Thanks. Now that I know what it is I can see it. I tried but couldn't figure it out. I tried to post a photo of me that I took with my Webcam, but I guess it was too big, and I have no way of shrinking it.

Give this a shot-it's what I use.

Thanks D46. I downloaded it and will see if I can find it and figure it out. I'm not very computer literate. Usually, when I download something I can't find it, or I can't figure out how it works.

In short, download and save to your desktop. Open it and install. It'll save an icon to your desktop. Then open IrfanView, click on File/Open/Look in:My Pictures (assuming you have a folder with pics). Then, click on the picture you desire to resize and it'll show it's current size in width and height and "RAM" (in MB). Then Click Open/Image at the top... Then Resize/Resample. You can then change the width and height, save it and hit ok. Sound a bit complicated but you'll get use to it. Then, all you have to do is later go back and use it in an attachment for an email, etc.

Hey Mutz
Is that a pic of yourself?

Yep - made possible by the IrfanView :D

Actually I had been posting on another forum for a few days and had my (little bit bigger) mug shot on that too. I made less that 20 posts, they locked me out and removed every post I made! I guess they just didn't want to be reminded of my face :-D

Someone else started a thread on the trinity a month or so ago. It had a vote option - I can't remember the exact question but essentially a yea or nay. It had about 1 page of innocuous posts and about 10 votes up to about three days ago - then I posted and in about two days the votes about doubled and the number of pages shot up. Interestingly the votes were about 75/25% for/against the trinity.

First of all I was asked not to post. Which I agreed to. I asked the moderator who took offense to get the administrator to review my posts & was anticipating a response to let me know what was decided. I went to bed and woke up to being locked out. No PM's, no reasons given, no discussion, no worries

One thing though, I noticed - no-one told me I wasn't born again and going to hell!

And because I was locked out of the whole site I couldn't even see what was happening to others. I finally got on another computer and found every post of mine had been deleted - not just the trinitarian ones - and the whole trinity thread obliterated.

Isn't doctrine a wonderful thing? :-?

Just kidding my brother.

No worries, I understood that. It doesn't hurt to take the mickey every now and then so feel free. And anyway, scripture (KJV) talks about those with gay clothing

I downloaded that but can't figure out how to work it. I'm just barely functional on a computer.

Hang in there Jon-Marc. Anything new takes a while to grasp. I was forced by nature of my job, to learn the workings of a computer but I fought it because I didn't want to learn. After I got into it, I now have a hard time staying away from it. It's becomes a great companion when you're alone. Anyway, try this tutorial-maybe it will help.

Hey great to see your mugshot too Jon-Marc. I guess you must have worked out that little utility with a bit of perseverance. :D

I would post a pic but, don't want to get the girls too excited!! :D Imagine Tom Seleck with glasses and not much hair on top and you get me! :-D

Actually, the administrator of another Christian Website shrank it down for me to use there and sent me a copy of the smaller one. I took that with my Webcam.
