By 'that' I meant 'Sabbath'.on post 36..did you accidentally miss the word Sabbath there...or did you intend to cover the things that have been done away with and hope we put the Sabbath in there by mistake
Proper Sabbath observance was a condition for staying in covenant with God in the first covenant. It no longer determines whether we remain in covenant relationship with God or not. **Faith in Christ does now.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think there's anything the least bit wrong with keeping it...as long as it is not done for purposes of justification...either to be justified (declared righteous), or to be justified as being one who has faith (IOW, shown to have been declared righteous).
