Growth What is God's business?

Dear Brother Mike, the problem with unsaved humanity is that they haven't tasted of the tree of good and evil (The LAW, the ministration of death). Someone cannot know the reason of anything until they discover their nakedness as Adam and Eve did (Gen 3:7). When those atheists blame God, they haven't discovered their own shame, and their need of Jesus as Savior. There is little desire of something they don't perceive as something to be wanted.

Well, then who carries the ball to show them they need Jesus? The unsaved just parrot what they have heard. They hear things different than we do. They also make complete sense.

When they hear thy will be done, and God killed your baby for some greater good we don't understand, then it's hard to explain that Jesus came to give live, not death, and give it in abundance, doing something about the one that came to kill, steal and destroy from you.

Suddenly I get lumped into the nuts that believe on a evil and powerless God. It'a all the same to them. I have never experience a evil and powerless God. My experience is that God never fails, and always keeps His Word if you believe what God said, over what the enemy is feeding your head.

Just like the old man I was a cell mate with. My first experience with this. He hated me, and everything I stood for. He pee'ed on my cloths at night, he broke my things. I just smiled and washed my cloths. I could not figure on why He hated me so much.

Finally after a month He told me, first time He talked. Love paid off, though I was thinking about smacking him in the head many times.

His son, a driver ran the stop sign, hit the side of the truck Him and his son was in. He remembered all the blood, but woke up and His Pastor was there with him in the Hospital. His first question was, What about my son.

His Pastor said, there is nothing they could do. Your Son is on life support and won't make it.

He said we can pray, pray for my son. The Pastor said that God wanted to take His son home from evil things to come in his sons Life that only God knows about. (Misquoting ISA) God works all things out for the better.

This man left and said to hell with God. If God wants to take my son away, screw Him.

30 years of hating God, drinking, and committing crimes. He was studying to be a Pastor. God is so faithful to put me in the cell with that guy. God never gave up on him, I see that now. He came out and committed his life to Jesus again in our prayer group.

So I have to wonder who's going to get the blame for all these unsaved who have heard nothing but lies from the pulpit. They go to hell for sure, but the teachers will get the greater condemnation.

Be blessed Brother.

Dear loved brother, we are but a light to the world, a testimony carrying the message of God unto all He sends us, but it is Him responsible for its product.
1Co 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
1Co 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

I will add that everything we say and do in Christ does not bring forth fruit from them hearing us. There is also Mat 10:18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. At judgment I can hear them try to explain their reasoning, and Jesus telling them as their judge: I sent Mike and you mocked him. Great is his reward, and forever is your loss, depart from Me!

yes, I comfort myself thinking the seed planted will somehow come to life at some time, that it's not all in vain.

This month has been rough, God asked me to study end times, I did. That was a few years ago. I came to the conclusion that most of all we know has already been mentioned by the Post and Pre trib camps. I found a few things, but nothing that would be of earth shattering importance. I asked God for more, because He asked that I write about what I found. I just could not understand throwing another book on top of a already large piles of books that say about the same thing. So I wait for a few years, I don't write a thing.

Well, the Lord is faithful, but what He showed me is beyond belief. Right in our face the whole time. I missed it all these years because I broke my own rules of taking the scripture literally. How stupid. High school kids are getting it, not me...... wow.

Sort of makes me wonder at what point does someone actually become qualified to share the Word with someone. There has to be some truth to what is shared. 17 years in the Word every day and come to find out I am a idiot. What point do we actually see? According to Paul, it's going to be in part.

Things are not what they told you Brother. I am not sure how much time is left.

Anyway, thank you for sharing and taking your time to post.

Blessings.
