Someone already mentioned The Matrix ;) I have to agree! The Matrix rules!

It has been, since the start of these last days, in no particular order:

Star Wars
Star Wars Episode I - (specifically, the warfare-climax of the duel between...Darth Maul....and the two Jedis)
Titanic, for reasons I will not mention
Donnie Darko, mostly because of the soundtrack...and the theme song from the ending.
Resident Evil, but not because I think of anything that is truly "evil" in an appreciative way....
Reign of Fire...and this one's kinda heavy at the moment.
:o :crying:
Phone Booth... now, THAT'S easily one of the most "evil"/evil?/e-ville movies I have yet seen as of this very day, starting with what took place at the same time and place I was, in time to attract my attention...shame on you, filthy ragamuffin in disguise. I saw through you then, and I see through you RIGHT NOW.

Tell me....was this YOUR fault, or mine? I can't wait to see how THIS one is resolved.

Yes....yes, I, a simple witness, HATE you, too --- you whose whine of "I hate you!" I can hear somewhere behind me...

May you get your just deserts, as I have mine. :crying:  :o

Ajax, did you know that if watch the little progress bar on the status bar of your computer, when it gets about 4-5 lines on it, then your response has been posted? You only have to click submit once; I promise. Try out the status bar thing. When it gets to about four marks, click on the forum your in, go back into the thread, and your post will be there. Just a little helpful advice. (You don't have to double check to make sure it's there - I just figured you would want to make sure the first time.)

My favorite movie....hmmm....I like Independence Day. It's probably my favorite; although, I do like plenty of others. I really like the original Sabrina movie and It's a Wonderful Life (which can only be watched when it's cold enough for a blanket and hot chocolate). There are several others, but I don't want to write them all down.

Braveheart, no contest. It used to be Star Wars, but I've seen it so many times it's lost its place. Still like SW a lot though.

...Yes. I sure do appreciate the kind gesture.

Please believe me when I say, it was not the fault of me becoming too impatient to wait for the browser to refresh, it was the fact I was using an old, outdated version of the CompuServe web browser -- it uses a slightly different API than the standard IE. It does this every time I post in this forum while using the CS software, and normally, I go back and delete one of the two posts after both finish posting.

I only appear to be as dumb as you're not.

Didn't mean to deceive anyone. :-?

So, not even ONE Christian-oriented movie is in the list of the favorites of professed Christians? Hmmm . . .speaks a lot for the influence of the world.

My favorite? Ben Hur. That's the movie that inspired me in a spiritual way some 25 years before I even had a spark of interest for Christianity.

Shawshank Redemption, Gattica, Office Space, Gladiator, The Game, Usual suspects would be a top...7, but no clear cut favorite.

American History X would be in here since it is possibly the best movie I have ever seen, but it is way to depressing to be a favorite. Another one that is excellent, but too depressing for this list is My Life.

The Matrix has a spiritual meaning. The Lord actually gave me a revelation using the movie the Matrix. It has a lot of scriptual undertones and speaks a lot about faith and belief.

SputnikBoy you really need to stop judging people so harshly my friend :)

Well, my time here is almost up by my internal clock, so I guess I better 'fess up:

My FAVORITE all-time movie, the one which I will give the TRUE Glory to the Father from whom I received the blessing of its creation, is the one which I am glad and happy my dear friend Mel Gibson was given the gift of undertaking for me --- he dubbed it "The Passion of the Christ". I was going to call it "El-Shaddai". I tell you, I had the entire movie ALREADY scripted in my mind when I prayed for it, but because of my true purpose being concealed from me while Satan destroyed my life's work before it even began, it was salvaged from amidst the ruins of my treasury and delivered to a man with whom I had already developed a deep, intimate friendship: Mel. I love you, my friend -- thank you for seeing my vision through to its fruition. You're in my heart, and I'll always be hoping for you.

....and no, I am NOT God. The Anti Christ, working AGAINST the purpose of Christ Himself: the saving of souls from eternal destruction, will be working specifically FOR the destruction of souls. This was NEVER me.

Please stay safe, and repel "home invaders". Invasion of privacy is the entire foundation on which America's current problem with hypocrisy and external standards, the unholy sort of judgmentality rampant even in the "Church", and my personal problem with "bad hair days" has been laid.

The glory of our Father be with you forever and ever. Amen.
