What is your all time favorite movie?

I'm going to say Matrix was very good in an entertaining way, but its a bit of a stretch to try and learn moral relavance from it. It is a hoshposh of pseudoreligious and philisophical "stuff", but a good action movie. The third one was good, but boo to the second one. :sad

Yeh well that's your opinion only ;)

Did you read the link I supplied?

My favorite movie is "The Outlaw Josey Wales" starring Clint Eastwood.

"Dyin' ain't much of a livin' boy!"

My favorite Western is "The Magnificient Seven"....

I did read it, but I would say that according to that line of thinking I could get good things out of the life of buddah too. I guess if you don't know about the other things being brought up during the movie, then you could derive Christian themes from it and ignore the others. But there are other themes that are not as wholesome or sound as well. There is some good, but mixed in with plenty of bad as well. Look under the book discussion about A Brave New World...same things occur in that book with interesting true moral lessons, but the end result is that the author is a staunch athiest.

I could say the same things of the movie Fight club as well, but that isn't a good example of Christian living either.

I guess that's why when I was sitting there watching the movie ti was GOD who showed me the things I needed to see.

Best leave the revelations to God eh? ;)

If you're an old west fan, in my collection is "Pat Garret and Billy the Kid" with Kris Kristofferson and Rita Coolidge, Bob Dylan and James Coburn. Lots of action and shooting.

"The Shootist" with John Wayne, an all time favorite and his last movie. :sad
