Those Koalas are pretty cute, but I got scratched while holding one. They (no joke) can rip parts of your face off. Just give them an eucolyptus leaf and you'll be fine! :D But those Tazzie Devils are something else. Completey psyco. :crazyjasoncran said:that area like my hometown has great whites!
hmm those kwoala bears are cute! what about the taz!
he's awesome. need a house cleaned out he's the man. of course i sound like that when i'm mad.
I've only been to Fraser Island, which is on the very edge of the GBR....I'd love to go there someday as well, but it's pretty expensive. Due to global warming, the coral is bleaching so it's unlikely to be around for longer than 20 years. :verysadhandy said:Great Barrier Reef (one of the places I want to visit one of these days!)
Also, Austrailians have the best accent of anyone on the planet.
If they can only get the Drop Bears under control and they'll be the greatest nation ever!
Ahh no. :Dmakingwisethesimple said:I think it's safe to say that Australia is so great because it's so close to New Zealand...

More likely the other way round. :P

Poisonous spiders, poisonous snakes, arid desert, the blowflys at Perth, the mugginess of Brisbane, the fact that Darwin seems to be 36 degrees and thunderstorms all year round, all in a country the size of Europe with only 1/8th of it inhabitable - all that does sound more attractive than little ol' NZ
And what is up with the platypus anyway!?
:P :P :P
Hey, we're the most dangerous country - better than NZ! (at least we didn't get expelled from ANZUS! :P)makingwisethesimple said:Nick said:Ahh no. :Dmakingwisethesimple said:I think it's safe to say that Australia is so great because it's so close to New Zealand...

Nick said:Has anyone here seen the Australia movie?
yeah, It's a pretty good movie but probably not the best movie for tourism, which could have been what was aimed at.Caroline H said:Nick said:Has anyone here seen the Australia movie?
Yes! I first saw it on the plane coming home from Kazakhstan. I loved it, so we rented it recently so Timothy could see it
I'm going to take a stab without research and say none. Becasue we have North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Africa and Antarctica. So that leaves Australia, but Australia is the only continent that is a country.Vince said:What continent is New Zealand part of?
