What will our physical age be in the afterlife?

So, from the fact that Jesus was resurrected in a physical body, we can infer that the afterlife will be a physical state too, not just a spiritual one. But how old will our physical bodies be there?
The fact that the resurrected Jesus looked the same as before his death can mean 3 things:
-We will all be 33.
-We will all be in the physical age we were when we died (in that case, I guess it sucks to die in an old age).
-We will all be in our prime (25 or so). Jesus probably came back as an 25 year old man but no one noticed the difference.

These Qs have been answered in 1 Cor 15:35-58. Flesh & blood does not inherit the kingdom of God.

In eternal life there will be no age barriers. We will enjoy the thrill of God's kind of life forever - in no physical body. It won't pay to speculate on what it will look like.

Stick with the fundamentals of 1 Cor 15.

I think that sums it up for me.
I have heard people call God 'the invisible God.' I think that is because we know of God's Spirit. Bit I believe God is visible too. Scripture tells us 'Let us make man in our image.' For Gid to have an image He must be visible. So I believe we will have an incorruptible body and spirit.

You contradict Scripture which states in Col 1:15 & 1Tim 1:17 he is the invisible God.

This contains a lot of speculation. Please stick with what 1 Cor 15 tells us about the resurrected body.

I consider it's wrong to speculate about the eternal 'body' outside of the facts from Scripture.

Can I answer that?
We are made in the image of the spiritual God, since God is spirit.
God doesn't have to shave or get a haircut.
God doesn't wear a suit and tie, tough many think he does.
God has personality, a sense of humor, he smiles in his spirit.
He creates, he designs, he molds and makes his children.
There are many more aspects of God that are in us as well.
But getting up in the morning and wondering if he should take a shower is not one of them.

Yes. We are in the cover design stage. We just got back our second cover design proposal from the publisher. We want a few more corrections then the book will move to production/distribution. The process will drag out until about June/July at this point best we can tell.

Nothing wrong in honest questioning according to Jesus .
Jesus, being the first begotten of the dead , not only indicated the appropriateness of questioning the nature
of our eternal bodies, but went so far as to identify for us the unique composition of our eternal bodies :

".Behold my hands and feet, that it is I myself . Handle me, and see, for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as you see me have. "
( Luke 24:39 )

The mention of just flesh and bones is very interesting given the emphasis that those present were obviously determined to verify His identity by means of the ghastly wounds in both His hands and feet .
Makes sense that the eternal body contains no blood since the openly pierced hands and feet of a normal body which had not been sutured closed would still be bloody mess at that point.
The only blood that will ever be present in eternity is that blood of Christ that was shed upon Calvary and offered upon the altar of God the Father for the remission of our sins .
Interesting that the wounds of Jesus's body factor so prominently in people positively identifying Him.
Almost as though His general appearance was now different .
Every indication that we will look upon those same wounds for eternity .

" And one shall say unto Him, ' what are these wounds in thine hands?
Then He shall answer , Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends ."

Its very interesting Jesus died at 33, He was older than His disciples, according to most scholars. Revelation talks about there being 24 elders, which we can assume are old men. Babies are taken to heaven when they die. The conclusion is its hard to say. I assume that whatever age we will be most effective in eternity will be the age we have. Its safe to say that some people get better as they age, and others worse as they age. Its hard to say. Make it to heaven is the highest priority.
