Well, I realize that some people might find this disgusting but we had liver tonight.
My wife loves liver and onions. I'm not so crazy about it but I've learned to make it acceptably for her.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread once again.
With the warm and sunny weather of spring it's most definitely time to warm up the grill. Well, actually, I don't let it cool too much as I use it year 'round.
Just pulled 1/2 chicken out of our freezer. Planning on seasoning with Lawry's and charcoal grilling it this evening. Have some leftover baked beans and homemade mac & cheese to go with it along with some homemade stuffing from the freezer as well. Beans, macaroni, and stuffing are a bit high on the carbohydrate level so will need to watch my portion sizes a bit but it should be pretty good.

Veggie stew with a little ground turkey and yeast rolls. It was cold here today with freezing rain.

Ah, second day chili with black beans and cornbread muffins.
It's always better the second day. Mrs. Barbarian talked me into using Penzey's chili mix. I was little skeptical, but I did it. I was really happy with it. It lacks the heat I prefer, but the flavor is outstanding. She really liked it, and I suppose I can figure out how to put a little heat into my bowl.

baked chicken and rice with vegetables. yummy. mama gave me some homemade banana and blueberry bread to take home. not as sweet as when she does banana nut bread...more of a snack bread, not a dessert bread. good times.

Haven't had Swiss steak in... can't remember. That's going on the menu next week.
