If you marry ,your husband will know. I could bring forth my recollections of disagreements on biblical positions taken by elder person on your positions. Im taking both sexes.

It's common knowledge. I have never met any female who is other wise its taught.

Ponder that for a little while. I know it "sounds wrong" at first...but if you ponder it long enough, you will realize that it is the right thing to do.

Come on you men, it goes both ways when a man or a woman is right. My husband will argue with me till the cows come home even if I am right. He will go as far as asking others only to find out I was right and then he will admit he was wrong. If I'm wrong I will admit it. There is no shame in thinking you were right until proven wrong.

Back to the OP, I think it is very rude to be on the phone while engaging in conversation at dinner time as that is one part of the day family is usually all together. You might not be sitting at the table per say, but it is still family time. Ask yourself what is more important, family time or device time.

That's the whole problem with a lot of the youth today and even adults today and all these devices as there is no longer family time apart from having company and even then the devices are being used. There needs to be more communication in the family in order to stay in touch with what your children are doing and thinking as you train up a child into adulthood.

Don't get me wrong there is still conversation and communication just not as much since we're not even in the same room lol so it's kind of difficult to do so. Everybody just sort of sits wherever. It's not really anything to do with devices, it's just the fact that's how our family is. Besides, I'm not even a child anymore anyways and my parents and I talk to each other other times and play games, watch movies, go places,.. whatever.

Now most people (kids and adults) lack the communication skills as they either spend to much time on social media or playing games on their devices. Many have actually lost touch with each other in their own homes as they are scattered within it. The unity of most families have become dysfunctional within communication skills with all these devices as no one in the household even knows what is going on within it.

Board games are a good way of communicating with family as there is interaction, but with phone/computer games there is no interaction within the family. Kids and young adults just aren't so much into board games anymore like they use to be.

My wife's family and my own qualify that. I eschew visits to her family for that reason .my brother in law can be less then gracious,his wife too.

I was goaded into visiting ,its how I made time to photo chobee.her dad and step mom I don't mind.i was planning to photo what I did when I did go .looking up info on my phone ,talked minimumally.

I didn't want to see be near anyone .

True, good point. However, I do believe that the major reason that a family can become dysfunctional is when they lack the proper discipline and instead of focusing their money on paying the bills is they blow all of their money on other unimportant things and therefore they can't take good care of their family or their living space. Lacking communication is definitely a factor when it comes to anger and arguments into making them dysfunctional in that sense (also usually caused by drinking and drugs) but that's not always the case.
